I googled to find the quotes about SMG from the Ringer crew but couldnt find anything - do you have any links?
The only stuff I could find on Google about her being a diva was people on forums discussing her being a diva, and one article about the Susan Lucci thing, but that was from the National Enquirer anyway... Any links? |

Loved reading these. In my working life I've come across more than my fair share of celebs.
Here are my top 5 Naughty and nice Nice Joe Brown (never heard a bad word about him ever) Bernard Cribbins (everything you want him to be) Stephen Merchant (was great company) Gary Bushell (I know, surprised me too,he couldn't have been nicer and paid for all the drinks,as did Joe Brown ) Helen Shapiro (she was amazed I knew who she was and knew so much about her ,big fan you see, and stayed to chat with us for 30 minutes, her husband was lovely too) Naughty Dave Lee Travis (The anti-Joe Brown) Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream) total twunt Walter Swinburn. I know he died recently but he was the sporting DLT CILLA (Vile) Naomi Campbell (Moronic and nasty with it) |

For me the issue here is ignoring a child. He must have seen her if not heard her. Adults presumably handle disappointment better than a child.
I work in a large store, and even though I have problems hearing, I always manage to catch when a child is excited to hand me money or receive the receipt, even at peak hours when the level of noise is probably above what is recommended. I work 11-hour shifts, and I never have a moments peace during the day apart from my breaks. Imagine how tired I am after an 11 hour shift. The final hours are a nightmare, since I am a highly sensitive person. Still, I catch the excitement of a child. Ignoring a child is not on. Even if I have no energy left, I never disappoint a child. My aunt told me of one time when she was at Centre Court at Wimbledon. Martina Navratilova had just finished a match, and a couple of kids asked her for an autograph. This would have been when she was still at the top of her game. Martina had a real go at them because they didn't have a pen. On the one hand, I understand her frustration -- players aren't exactly going to worry about taking pens with them to matches; but on the other hand, there's ways of saying things. No matter how tired and desperate for a shower she may have been, they were just kids and there was no need to be nasty about it. Although why no one offered to lend her a pen for a moment is beyond me. I think she's more fan-friendly and slightly more gracious towards the public these days. |

In the hospitality suite at a charity football match, some years back - A 'soaps' team consisting mainly of Corrie actors...
My daughter was a massive fan of Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) - unfortunately he didn't seem to have the same enthusiasm towards the fans. Very stand-offish, to the point of ignorance - wouldn't sign anything - it was a chore to stand still for more than a few seconds while a few people grabbed a quick pic with him looking bored in the background, then was out of there in a flash. His mate Kirk (Andrew Whyment) on the other hand was a true gent - posing for photos, signing programmes, laughing and joking with the younger kids etc... Maybe AH just had a bad day or something (only met him the once), but he did leave a LOT of young fans (who were there mainly for him) very disappointed. |

Sarah Michelle Gellar is well known for her diva style behaviour off camera & on set.
I've edited some parts out as it's not appropriate but she was well know for being the biggest cow on the set, truly an insufferable bitch by the Seventh Season. ![]() |

Another vote for Lulu from me. Seriously off the scale diva behaviour that makes Mariah look timid. I loved when Brendan Cole called her out for being a nightmare on Loose Women that time.

Sarah might have changed years after she finished Buffy though. She might have, she might not have. I dunno.
![]() Thanks to the Buffy PR machine we'll never really know the extent of her behaviour and now that she's patched things up with Alyson Hannigan, the most outspoken member of BTVS cast against SMG's 'diva' antics... t's now even more unlikely. Joss Whedon did say he thought their (he & Gellar's) working relationship was over, and that he was happy to keep it that way - read into that what you like. She'll never be in another one of his projects. It's likely that's the reason there's never going to be a Buffy reunion. She was also rumoured to be called "Sarah... Darling" by Scream 2 director Wes Craven as she complained about re-shoots and re-writes of the script and her characters introduction. She also lied saying she did all her own stunts on Buffy... It was Sophia Crawford for the first 3 years of BTVS who did the stunts. She then refused to be thrown off the roof in Scream 2 for her characters death scene. I'm pretty sure they got Sophia for it. They named a character in Scream 3 as Sarah Darling, who was a poor actress & huge bitch/selfish type... it's meant as a dig at SMG. She is/was also best friends with one of TVs most well known 'divas' in Shannon Doherty. She was fired from the original run of 90210 for her feud with Jennie Garth & then sacked for slapping producer Aaron Spelling of Charmed. Also she had rows with Alyssa Milano over fashions/hairstyles & scenes etc. Maybe her nastiness rubbed off on Sarah... @knickerlesscage I don't have the links sadly, I do remember debating the quotes on Imdb.com as back in the day I would defend her to great lengths... not so much anymore

I have no real claims other than...
Saying hello to the actor who played Dr Legg in Eastenders. He was in a flower shop just outside Kilburn Station and I popped in to pick my nan up some flowers. He was obviously a regular as he and the flower shop lady were talking like old friends - so I assume he was a nice fellow. He had obviously just been recognised as he was joking with her that someone had just recognised and talked to him using 'Dr Legg' instead of his real name. Rod Stewart - he nearly ran me over in his car as I was crossing the road. I was very drunk - so when I say 'crossing the road' it was more like a disorganised, aimless, arm flapping attempt at running. I was very young. It was a close call! And again - years later, chatting to one of the staff in the local council gym and getting jostled aside really rudely by security guys as Rod swans in. No idea if he's nice or not really but, due to my 'close calls' I'm going to say - not. Got to admit, was wondering why he was there as it definitely wasn't the nicest, cleanest, most well equiped gym and I would assume he would have had one at home. |

TOM BAKER
ROBERT HARDY Most unpleasant and extremely rude. That's absolutely not my experience of Tom Baker. He's mad as a box of frogs, but normally LOVES being recognised and (in his words) "adored" by people. I think you must have come across him on a bad day? |
