Strictly Get Dancing Event

Is anyone else going to any of the Strictly events this year?

I was thinking of applying for tickets to go to the 'Get Dancing' event where you learn & perform the chachacha at the television centre along with 500 other people (there's a video of the dance you have to learn on the Strictly blog) I think it sounds great but I'm not sure - would it still mean having to queue for hours like you do with audience tickets?

(Apologies if there's already a topic on this, I looked through the first couple of pages and couldn't see one.)

I dont know about the queuing thing but I imagine so. I will apply for tickets (I only live 5 mins walk away) but can imagine that it will be the usual overscription ticket thing as they presumably want to make sure there are enough dancers/people there for the recording. Had a quick look at the dance step list and its crazy Karen style stuff (not very technical) .... Anyone who has done a Fiesta Cha Cha or CC Bambino should be able to do it no problem.
