Apprentices?

Strange this

why would supposedly high achievers want to step down and work for Sir Alan - this is just about their TV exposure, isnt it.

The rewards are a joke. Sausage barbecue.

And every year Sir Alan shows his lack of real good judgement by picking a loser.

I am not watching now.

Now - Apprentice USA - classy boss, classy rewards, and classy job at the end of it.

Of course he does, that's why we love it. Supposedly intelligent, grown adults making complete eejits of themselves

What? A proper programme about business? Like with intelligent people and everyfink? How dull!

Give me the bargain basement Brit version any day...

You guys need to watch the Irish version to see REAL tools at work! Including the boss...

Memorable quote from last week:-

Bill (Cullen, our -- god help us! --- version of Lord Al or Donny T) "WHat d'ye mean, a prequel? THis is a new word to me." (Yeah, he really said that!)

Hopeful Male Apprentice: "It's, loike, from Star Wars, Bill."

Bill: "Sure I'm too busy to watch that sort of stuff!"

Yeah Bill. You REALLY have NEVER heard of Star Wars? One of the biggest grossing franchises in the world???
Hmm.....

Star Wars?

I took my son to see attack of the clones

I think i may have seem the whole of the original star wars, but in bits.

that's about it. it isnt the best film in the world - despite what some forums may suggest.

I enjoyed the latest Star Trek, and Avatar though.

This series the winning project manager gets to sit down with a businessman and learn from their words of wisdom. It's incredibly tedious and pointless. Once they got to go to the Playboy Mansion though, and swim with the hookers, back when the show was fun. They got to record a rap once as well.

Much more exciting is when the losing team go to the boardroom and we see the winning team watching them on a big-screen monitor, chomping popcorn and insulting them all. Fun for me.
