So what? No one is perfect.

I don't know why everybody feels the need to pick at Alesha's grammar, okay, so she may not be perfectly spoken... but is it really a problem? REALLY?

So ? Your point is ?

Stephen Hawking would never make a mistake like that.
I think he'd be rather good actually.

Petertard, I've noticed that you like to start thread about Alesha.
I don't think she's going anywhere mate!

Is that all you can think of to say about tonight's show?

If I was going to be on national television (god forbid) I would want to sound reasonably well-spoken and not like an uneducated ignoramus.

Perhaps my standards are unreasonably high but it is really a very, very basic concept of the english language and not exactly complicated to grasp.
I believe they even teach it in primary schools.
There's no excuse.

...Well this thread went well, didn't it?
Seriously though what's the big deal? Being picky for the sake of being picky.

Maybe I misheard, but I think last week she did say "you were", so it was a bit of a shock to hear her say "You was" again, twice.

Presumably: that it's pretty shocking she still fluffs basic grammar like this when a) she's a native speaker and b) her job (or, one of her jobs) is being a commentator on prime time BBC.

Alesha is a Martyr to grammar. She'll go down in a long line of martyrs to the vernacular like Wycliffe and Tyndale and is more persecuted than Guido Fawkes.
Of course, I could be lying.

Well, yes. Grammar exists and sticking to it correctly isn't very difficult; it's expected of everyone, particularly the people working as commentators on the BBC.

A shock? Wow, you shock easily...
So tell us, how did you react to Annton's salsa?

Two grammar mistakes in two hours, hardly headline news. Most people make more than that in a 5 minute conversation

Not 2 mistakes, the same mistake twice !

Sir Alan Sugar speaks the same 'dialect' as Alesha

Sir Alan Sugar should buy a decent razor or get one of his apprentices to get him one.

Oh dear god, it's a national scandal, someone made the same mistake twice!

If this nitpicking is what some people do during the show, then I feel sorry for them - they missed some fabulous dancing.

I agree- maybe they should watch the dancing rather than taking notes on Alesha's grammar.

What is the point in re-posting the same stuff over and over again?

She ain't [sic] gonna [sic] change cos [sic] of what gets posted on DS!
