Do we know when this box will be getting iPlayer / Skyplayer / ITVPlayer. etc?

I've been trying to work out if there is any solid news about this. I know there's an update on 18th October. What are the chances these will bring something to my TV portal button?

It's doubtfull iplayer and skyplayer etc will be in the 18th oct update. There's a stack of bugs to fix first like HDMI handshake, guide problems, sd image, surround sound problems etc etc.
The beta hastnt fixed a couple of things either.

Yes, it's almost certain that the 18th Oct OTA update will be the update that includes the changes that people have been able to download and load via USB.

I would expect that same route to be followed with the next new updates - download/USB first, OTA later.

Humax haven't scheduled a slot for the update for the next month so looks like its going to be late. It will probably be website only and a final version of the current beta.

I think they have more on their plate to sort out first before the Portal.

The "Oct18-20" date was one quoted on an email from "Graham from Humax", listed on hummy.org.uk:

In the last post of that thread, the admin on that site has noted that there is a gap in the DTG schedule for 18-20 Oct. So draw your own conclusions.
