I love cocktails. There's a bar I go to basically everytime I'm out, they have over 100 and they are amazing.

My favourite is Melonade, Midori, Rum and Lemonade. So tasty. Greenpeace as well, Midori, Blue bols, Peach schnapps and Orange juice.

Classics are good as well like Mojitos.

Problem is they are so easy to drink!

Oh Tequila Sunrise as well, with Gold Tequila, not Silver.

Love, love, love cocktails...

Fave's are Cosmopolitan, Mojito, Planters Punch and Porn Star Martini (the second two are house specials of certain bars we go to!)

I am currently teetotal but look forward to a scrummy cocktail at the end of the month

I like a good mojito or kir royale.

I don't really like creamy cocktails. Well, I don't dislike them but I'm horribly allergic to cow's milk so anything creamy or with Bailey's/similar really doesn't agree with me and gives me a really unattractive and itchy rash on my arms, legs and face

I love cocktails theres bar near me that does the most amazing ones, my favourite at the moment is cherry bomb - Amaretto, Archers, Cranberry and Pineapple Juice, really lovely! They also do a Blackberry Fruitini, which is blackberry vodka, martini and blackberries, very strong but also really nice

If we go somewhere new that does cocktails I cant just stick to the one variety, end up mixing my drinks and then feeling sickly!

I love them. A friend and I usually have cocktail pitchers sadly though I can't really drink them. I get far too drunk and I have the worst hangover the following day, so now I'm a fan of non-alcoholic ones.

I like cocktails but I only if they're made fresh, can't stand ones that are ready mixed.

My favourites are a cosmopolitan, pornstar martini, bellini a frozen daquari, any flavour, or an apple or lychee martini

Oh yes... I love cocktails. French Martini being my favourite at the moment. Although I had a green tea martini at lunch () and that was fab

A bar near work has just started a new menu of cocktails using Lychee liqueur and they are amazing...currently trying to source a bottle to buy for my own cocktail experiments!

Hell yeah

I am a huge fan of Corpse Revivers at The Hawksmoor at the moment (Gin, Curaçao, Cocchi, Lemon Juice & Absinthe) 3 of those and I am properly wasted though. I like an Aviation (Gin, Maraschino liqueur, fresh lemon juice & a dash of creme de violette) for a less blitzed evening out.

White Russian for me or a Bloody Mary.

I don't drink cocktails very often but when I do it's a Harvey Wallbanger.

There seems to be a real renaissance in classic cocktails at the moment.

I recently bought a book/app called Speakeasy Cocktails and it has a particular emphasis on the classics. Think gin rather than vodka and Martini and Negroni instead of 'Cosmo' (ptooh!).

I've always liked Margaritas, although I can't touch even one on a school night. Pimms has always been a weakness on a hot day and a properly mixed G&T, made with Bombay Sapphire and Fever Tree tonic water hits the spot. On occasion, nothing goes as well with a fry-up as a Bloody Mary.

Lately I've become partial to a Negroni as an aperitif and I'm about to get a bottle of Old Tom gin in order to mix my own Tom Collins and Gin Rickey.

I've never been a whiskey drinker but I do fancy trying a Sazerac, solely because it was James Bond's other drink.

I probably sound like right old lush here - in reality, I have a Bloody Mary about four times a year. However, as I get older and drink less, it seems more important to drink the good stuff when I do indulge.

I only came across these relatively recently, not being a big drinker of gin but they're a lovely refreshing tipple.

Other than that I'm not all that keen on cocktails. Always seem a bit to sweet for me, Martini excepted. I've never considered a Bloody Mary a cocktail but I suppose it is.

A good cocktail is lovely - had a few cocktail nights at home, and it is always a great success (although it can take a looooong time to wash the glasses the following day).

A jug of Long Island Iced Tea makes for a great movie drink for two

Cocktails are great when there is a big group of you and you can sample a lot of different drinks and get all different flavours, it's like a buffet but for drinks.

My neighbour makes a mean, lethal margherita. I also like porn star martini, Mississippi mudslide, caipirinha, sex on the beach, screaming orgasm, and a mojito if it's done REALLY well.

I love Campari based drinks, especially negroni. And if you swap out the gin for bourbon you get the equally fantastic boulevardier.

My missus used to go out for them after work back when cafe bar happy hours were the big thing. Can' t recall any of the names she told me now. Always avoided the creamy sickly ones and only ever got pleasantly tipsy

Sat in the safety of my armchair, yes.
In a party or night out, no - strictly wine or decent real ale.
Otherwise I'd be first engineer on the Oblivion Express

I do like them but i begrudge the prices they charge for them.

Depends where you go surely? Considering how much alcohol is in a decent cocktail then you would expect them to be quite expensive.

I'm off to a fairly small restaurant tomorrow night and I just checked the menu online.
I won't be choosing a cocktail but here's their offering:

Espresso Martini
Vodka & Kahlua with espresso coffee shaken with ice & topped with fresh cream £7
White Russian
Vodka & Kahlua with fresh cream £7
Hazelnut & Chocolate Martini
Vodka, Frangelico & Crème de Caccao £7
Chocolate Mint Martini
Vodka, Crème de Menth & Crème de Cacao £7

I suppose that's reasonable for a spirit and liqueur?
