Nokia C7
I was thinking of buying one of nokia's new touch and type phones but after looking around at whats due out very soon i really like the look of the Nokia C7.
Think its getting over shadowed by the N8, The C7 seems to have alot of the features of the N8, Not the amazing camera but after saying that the C7 looks to take quite decent pictures. Anyone else thinking of buying this or know of a release date? |

The Nokia C7 is an absolutely stunning looking phone! Really nice looking phone and with some great features and is probably perfect for all my needs. But if it wasn't for me jumping ship to Android and wanting the Desire HD i would have got the C7.
After a couple of weeks using Android, and after playing with a Galaxy S at weekend, I'm more of the thought that Android really isn't for me. It feels way too much like running a Linux box in your pocket. iOS at least manages to hide away the underlying OS quite nicely. |

It does look absolutely stunning, doesn't it? Shame they skimped on the camera. And the lack of an external memory card.
...and now shipping !!

Making it the second Symbian^3 device to hit retail, the C7 matches the majority of specs of the N8, missing out the HDMI port, 12 megapixel camera, and of course has a reduced price tag.

The camera is still 8mp which is the same as the N86. So i don't think they've skipped on the camera at all. If it can take as half as good as pictures i can take on my N86 i'd be very very pleased with the C7. It really is a cracking phone!
From AAS: ![]() It just uses extended depth of field, which is relatively lame, although mainly in light of the wonders achieved with the camera on the N8. Whilst the C7 may be good for snaps, it'll probably be useless for anything slightly more creative. Whilst I like the look of the other S^3 devices, its going to have to be the N8 for me. |

Nokia vid promoting the C7.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44pBhn_T1uc Not particularly impressed. Think they could have done much, much better. It deserves better. |

Can anyone tell me if they've purchased the new Nokia C7?
I'd love to hear people's thoughts on the phone. Review from AAS here: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/revie...mpressions.php |

Finally got my shiny new C7
![]() Im not gonna go into a big review of it as theres enough reviews on the net already but if anyone wants to ask anything about the c7 il do my best to answer. There is one thing that lets this phone down imo, and thats the speaker on the back. It looks like it has 2 one either side of the camera but only 1 is infact the speaker and its a poor one at that ![]() other than that i think the phone is great and would definatly recommend it. |
