Movers and Improvers

Sorry to be uncharacteristically positive but a couple of people impressed me last night far more than they did last week. Not many, but a couple.

Patsy dropped the quivering lip and put in a gutsy performance in her salsa.
Goldie looked like he'd put far more effort into his second dance and it showed.
Tina impressed me with a massively improved attitude. She said on her VT that the comments she got last week were right and she was going to work to improve. Compare that to some of the sulking and oh they're so mean boolsheet others were coming out with. Good for her. Shame she's stuck with Jared.

Who's improved or grown on you since week one?

At the risk of being the opposite...

Gavin peaked in Week one and was dire in week two.

Agree that Patsy did much better in the nerves and enjoyment dept. Not qualified to coment on her dancing!
Ditto Tina

You're at least as qualified as certain nameless judgy judges, go for it.

Gavin's first Latin wasn't that bad. It was typical first week Latin. IIRC Darren G, Matt D and Matt Di Angelo got similar scores for their first cha cha's. Room for improvement methinks (quite a lot of improvement, granted) It just stuck out like a sore thumb last night because the standard is very high for just week 2.

Gavin's Latin was worse than my already low expectations, which is a shame because the waltz was so good.

I thought Michelle did a lot better this week, although still nothing to write home about! I have to disagree about Tina, I didn't see an awful lot of improvement, it was still jerky and stiff and she looked to be clinging on for dear life!

Patsy improved vastly in terms of controlling her nerves, but I thought she was overmarked.

I wanted Felicity to be so much better at ballroom than she was, so that was disappointing.

Jimi improved a lot from last week, he and Flavia were great

I'm not sure why i thought Ferlicity would be better than she was, it's a shame, i don't think she and the little Italian one will be around long.

Patsy became the kind of performer i would have expected her to be, well a decade ago anyway.

Gavin was dire but i expected him to be anyway.

Tina, i'm not sure what to make of her, they were pretty bad in hold.

And Goldie, i get the feeling that he didn't really buckle down in the 3 weeks had to prepare, he was shocked by his results and is now playing catch up.

Onwards and upwards for Patsy and Jimi.

I thought Matt stalled a bit. I want to see less gimmicky gymnastic moves. Felicity needs to up her game as well. As does Tina. They are the non movers for me.

Gavin took a nose dive.
