Something struck me about this series in the last couple of weeks.
The starting positions and the introductions to the dances seems to have become much more showy this year.
Stuff like leaning on the judges table, Natalite and Scott setting half there dance on a different level with the balcony, props usage that demonstrate the celebs day job and using different levels of the floor.
I don't remember so much of it it in previous series from all the couples, but it seems to be a requirement now or nearly all of them.
Do you think they have been asked to do this, or have they noticed a few people doing it and trying to go one better. If it's the latter how far are they going to push the whole thing.
I know they staged the floor out differently because they said so on ITT, so they had different options to stage the dances on the floor.
I think it makes the dances look alot more theatrical and brassy, but it seems to take ages for them to get into the the actual dance style.
I just wondered what everyone thought of it, and if it's working for you?
