Thank God, he's through. Twice now his name has been called out twice. Wonder if that means anything?

Well deserved. Powerhouse vocalist.

Glad John deservedly got through. He got 10votes from me. My first this series.

John was my favourite performance this week. Great vocals and good stage presence. He'll go far, not a winner perhaps but up there.

Theme this week is Guilty Pleasure.

I voted for John too

He and Matt are now my faves

I'd like to see him do an uptempo song, from the group song on Sunday he looks like he'd be a good mover

John gave one of the best performances this week in my opinion

Bit annoyed John is doing yet another ballad.

Please Louis, give the lad something with a bit of tempo in it

XtraFactor is great tonight.

Public proving they aren't that stupid by basically saying John is great but not being given the attention.

Konnie had an odd look on her face, she may regret selling her soul to present on this show and pretend she doesn't know what is going on.

Not watching but that's good news... really hoping he makes it through this week, it wasn't the best song or time slot he had.

Really annoyed he was on again so early. Didn't like the song, dancers or image but vocals were fine as usal.

Worried about tomorrow.

I agree. Love his vocals but he's being stitched up by the song choices and the early placing.

I'll stick a few votes his way but I am worried now

Must be, wasn't even in the top 1000 until John sang it. It's the highest song sang by an X-Factor contestant this week! And this is by someone who performed early and has had probably the least amount of media coverage.

I have voted lots of times for John. I doubled the votes I cast for him last week cos I think he's extra vulnerable this week.

Let's all just vote for him and see what happens.

Someone on the main forum claims to know the voting order and says John is 12th.

It was a travesty. He is a good singer and seemed like a lovely bloke as well. Sitting through the X Factor every week just got a bit grimmer.

Really liked John and his voice. Although I'd have preferred John to be saved Treyc did a better job in the sing off imo. Would loved to have seen more from him though, nevermind

I am furious.

It's a complete joke that in a so-called SINGING contest, John gets the boot while acts like Wagner, Cher, Katie and even One Direction (who I like, but are really not the best singers) got through. He's been stitched up since Day 1 - very little media attention, poor song choices, poor styling, poor productions, being on before Wagner and Mary every week. Last night's song was dreadful and the styling didn't do him any favours. I don't know why, but the judges clearly weren't very keen on him. Even with 'A Song For You' which was the best of that nights performances, he only got lukewarm praise.

John now won't be going the tour.
