And I agree, \Felicity is an example to us all - look at her control and her flexibility. Vincent never makes easy choreography.”

Do you teach adult ballet Cheryl?

She seems very subdued tonight

What did Felicity say under her breath that they had to apologise for?

I think she was disappointed with those scores. I was, too and thought she deserved an 8 from all the judges.

Yes I keep looking at her and I don't think she looks right at all. Her face is very taunt its as if she is afraid to give a proper smile. She is very thin and I don't think that's very flattering to someone of her age.
She used to be a nice build back in the days of The Good Life. She was never fat but she was never as thin as she is now.

Is it just me or does Vincent not seem to like Felicity very much? He's so subdued this year and he's normally very affectionate and supportive with his partners. Just a vibe I'm getting....

Felicity's flexibility is unbelievable, amazing.

I agree that there is something lacking in the chemistry between Vincent and Felicity.

Unfortunately for Felicity, she is being rather overshadowed by the other older female dancers: Pamela, who is technically better than her and has a much livelier chemistry with her professional partner; and Ann, who is is hoovering up all the publicity and getting hyped to the high heavens by the BBC.

Her flexibility was very impressive on Saturday, but I never got the sense that she put her heart and soul into it - it was just a little sterile. Like she's holding back something of herself.

And whatever work she has had done on her face - especially round her mouth - is not very appealing ...

Nonetheless, I'd rather see Felicity stay over Ann - but I fear she may fall foul of the Widdinator in the weeks to come ...

I think it's less dislike, and more just a bit of old-fashioned courtesy towards a woman old enough to be his mamma. I remember him being similarly dignified with Stephanie B.

I just don't think that Felicity is as good a dancer as her looks, figure and flexibility would lead us all to hope. She certainly isn't showing Pamela's versatility or sparkle - in fact she's almost as wooden as Michelle in places. The biggest problem is that she doesn't seem relaxed, and I find that puts me on edge when she dances.

It seems some of the older lady celebs, want to be seen as just that a lady.

They find it hard to get off their high horse, after so many years of being the top of their acting profession to be only as good as the next person.

As long as they keep this attitude they will never be able to relax and dance with their body as before they have acted with their minds and voice and face.

What dance is Felicity doing this week? I'm hoping there will be a dance that really suits her so that she can relax more.

I don't think Vincent dislikes her, he was like this with Steph Beacham. I also think Felicity's Rumba wasn't stiff and sterile but rather rhythmical and flexible! I think 29 was a good indication and I think she is still holding back a tad, and even seems nervous but I think people are overreacting a bit and had too much high hopes for a 65 yr old woman (this woman is the same age as when Esther Rantzen was on, who scored 16 for her Rumba...) Remember her age, remember how difficult taking to the dancefloor is especially as a huge beginner, compared to Pam who has done work with Bruno before (thus the Bruno comment of: "you still have it Pam!")

Take things into perspective and you'll start to realize how harsh some people are being about Flick! I think she's still beautiful at 65, work done or not!

She was on the phone on Chris Evans' show earlier and she said she was doing the Tango

Agreed.

She's simply Not Very Good.

Rumba and Tango should be her best opportunities to shine - and her rumba was a bit "meh", all in all. Let's see what the Tango's like, but I think she'll struggle with most of the other dances.

I didn't realise this.

I must say I thought Pam was a beginner like Felicity, I didn't realise she already has experience.

Totally agree - previously I've always liked her as an actress but this year she's had by far the most negative comments in our little Strictly fan group at work...even more than Peter, Paul and Ann. She just hasn't got the personality and chemistry with her partner that say Pam has. Also have now dubbed her Facelifty Kendall due to either ill-advised surgery or too much botox & fillers. Maybe she just suffers the same 'love her or hate her' vibe that also afflicted Cherie Lunghi?

and after Pamela's week1 performance, Bruno again commented on it: "Pamela you've STILL got it!"

A lot of us saw lovely cuddly Barbara and other characters she has played on TV in Rosemary and Tyhme etc and thought, THAT was Felicity when in actually fact she seems quite a diva and rather stuffy with people. Some of her interviews with Claudia have not made her look warm and fun!! I find her need to smile at the camera and appear cute rather off-putting in someone of 64!! I imagine she must be a REAL pain to work with. Poor Vincent, he is hardly having the time of his life with Felicity!!!

I doubt if Felicity would be happy with Vincent flirting and making comments about her. Vincent always gives the impression he is madly in love with his partner!!! He "adores" them all but I doubt if Felicity would be interested in that kind of publicity. After all she is old enough to be his grandmother, never mind mother!!! I think it is very hard indeed for beautiful women to age. It is something that Pamela Stephenson should remember when she is talking about her "love" for James""""!!!!!! UGH. No idea why Pamela is the hit of the show. I do not think she dances particularly well and nearly fell over during her routine but was praised to the hilt by the judges anyway!!
