Nope, your wrong...She is a warm person to meet, Vincent could be said to be cocky and up himself as well...I mean really!! She's not a diva as you put it and I do rather hate it when people make instant impressions on someone they do not in any way know...have you seen her training diarys on youtube? interviews from the past? Do you realize most actors are and rightfully should be confident and want to look good...its what they know! Frankly the abuse Felicity has been getting is enough, Pamela Stephenson has had surgery...we don't see people being over the top about her...Really don't be so cruel, I mean calling her Facelifty Kendal? How low can one go to be so cruel to someone trying their best to perform well on Strictly! Really passive up until now but enough and really your wrong about her being hard to talk to and work with (meet!) and lastly, Claude's interviews with Flick have been successful, and fun!

The training footage and last few interviews with Felicity and Vincent have shown that they really are getting along famously now. Perhaps in view of the age difference and different personalities, it just took them a little longer to feel comfortable with each other?

Agree with you KiwiJay, the name calling is totally unnecessary.

I think Facelifty Kendal is hilarious, almost as good as the Felishitty Kendal I heard at work the other day.

She used to be a nice build back in the days of The Good Life. She was never fat but she was never as thin as she is now.”

Yes, I agree. My immediate reaction when she first appeared was that she's had a facelift. But then - it happens. So many celebs feel the need to do it. I don't understand it as it never looks natural to me.

That said, Felicity's flexibility is astonishing in a woman of her age. If it's yoga then she's a good advert for it!

I named her Flicity Bendix after last weeks dance .

Felicity is one of those older, eternally flirty attention-seeking women who love praise and loathe being reminded of their age.

Despite the lots of "work done" (to little effect, in my opinion:I'm the same age as her and she looks twenty years older than me) I do like her dancing. She is graceful and fluid and a pleasure to watch. So, I would add, is Pamela Stephenson who is better than Felicity but not quite as slim and flexible .

She seems to be slightly stouter around the middle than she was when young - but is essentially the same size: she was always very slim. Due to her age and slimness, her arms and legs WILL look scrawny in comparison with slim younger women, and might give the impression that she is skinnier than she actually is.

I think the only famous "older women" I can think of who have not had face and neck lifts are Brigitte Bardot and Dame Judy Dench.

There are many older women around with very damaged, lined skin but taut necks, eyes and jowls (Felicity, Honor Blackman, Joan Collins, Joanna Lumley etc etc..........). I'm afraid their protestations that they have not had cosmetic surgery don't persuade me.

Sorry to Felicity fans but she doesn't look like the same person in the old series I loved to watch... she has had stuff done to her face and it's irritating to see her facial expressions where she keeps folding her bottom lip over her top lip all the time... maybe is's feeling a bit numb from the botox or whatever she's had injected into her face!!! I prefer Anne Widecombe's 'natural' looking face!

And how exactly does this have anything to do with her dancing? Or is this programme now called Strictly Come Slag Off The Contestant's Looks? I don't think it is just her fans who are sick of this. Common decency says that these comments on her physical appearance have gone OTT.

sofakat and rossyrahrah? Why would I not be serious? When calling her Felishitty Kendal now? I understand some people want to pick at her appearance when I think she's been fine on Strictly...but I really don't like the more abusive of the comments...hell she's been called a "bitchy cow" (language!...) this is why it got tiresome...not just as a fan of her's...

I've found this thread quite reassuring. Last week I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about Felicity's rumba. Clearly she is impressively flexible, but the dance didn't "wow" me at all. I had found myself cringeing as I watched it, as I thought it was bad, so was completely gobsmacked when she got such positive comments from the judges. I'm glad it's not just me who isn't enthralled.

Felicity and Vincent are one of my favourite couples, i really enjoyed their Tango last night, even though there were faults it's pretty much the only one i want to watch over, it had a great feel to it, Vincent is so good at that as well as very definate narrative.

Anyway i have nothing to add about anyone's looks.

I actually have enjoyed her Rumba and Tango, both were quite competent but she really needs to improve certain skills and I hope Vinnie can help her, a bit more ooomph!!

I totally agree and I think Anne Widdicombe has a nice face and was in fact quite a looker when she was younger. I think Felicity looks weird and not nice at all - she cannot move her face all she can do is twitch it and it must frighten poor Vincent. Why do women do this as they all end up looking the same, she is uncomfortable to watch and odd

:yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn: I thought this was the Strictly Come Dancing Forum not the Strictly Come Bitching Forum? Does it occur to you that Felicity is a human being who may be very upset to see such nasty comments? I find it very sad that this forum has become such a bitchfest in the last few weeks.

Facelifty Kendal is properly hilarious, though.

Bitching isn't nice but it happens every year on DS and I've seen much worse.

I'm far from a fan but the sniping about Natalie last year was shocking.

It has always been like that. "Facelifty Kendal" is just nasty. I can feel the bitterness and dissatisfied lives on here at times. It's very palpable.

This thread started out as a positive one about Felicity. I like her despite the surgery which, I agree, has not enhanced her looks. But I suppose when you have it done you don't know how it will turn out and then you have to live with it.

I think she looks good. Why would you dislike someone just because they have had surgery anyway? I don't really get the obsession with her looks.

The main point seems to be "how dare celebrities try to make themselves look better when I'm stuck with what I have" or "how dare they have more money than me". Whether the result of surgery is good or bad, celebrities are criticised for it - they are plastic, fake, insecure etc. If they don't have surgery, then people say they look old/bad. Total madness.
