Went to see him in Cardiff last wednesday. Gig was mindblowing. I saw him last year in Birmingham but this gig edged it. He opened the gig by running through the crowd from the back of the arena, shaking hands with people and jumping around like a loon, fantastic He seemed to have toned down the lasers slightly, and was using a back projection for a lot of tracks. The film he used during Equinoxe V was absolutely stunning, with the characters from the album cover dancing and marching aorund. Amazing! Also, you haven't lived until you've experienced Laser Harp up close and personal

the was the same in London Revolver44, yea he came from the back, and shook hands with people, and used the same Equinoxe characters, and the laser harp was great. Did he play that sort of wooden box thing on legs at your one?

He wore check trousers, looked like Rupert the Bear lol. Can't believe he's 62, he looks fabulous.

No he didn't play that, but he did in Birmingham iirc. He spent about 10 minutes wigging out on an old Moog halfway through... he was like some French Jimmy Hendrix He did make me LOL tho when he said to the Cardiff crowd "Hello Wales. I love this country. I love rugby!" LMAO. You're quite right, he is amazing for a guy in his 60s... couldn't believe the energy he had!

Ah you mean the theremin? Yes he played that. Works by manipulating airwaves, so he doesn't need to touch the instrument. The Moog was the keyboard shaped like a guitar that he slung over his shoulder.

whow, thanks for that, would have taken me ages to find out what that was on Google.

Yes, he played both of those, would seem the events followed the same pattern.

I have never seen him live before, finances not allowing it, but have been a fan since the first Oxygene album came out, not that i know a lot about his music. But a dream come true really, to see one of his shows live
