Yes it amazes me also, I could never read or write it but I can speak a lot of words now I'm too old to learn the art of reading and writing Chinese,



I write down words as I hear them so the spelling looks silly but if you say it as you read it you will find it works,

I can count to 25 also

We order groceries on Monday evening for a Friday delivery between 8 and 9 o'clock .

If we order any later it goes into Sunday which is then no good for weekend supplies so that's why we have to plan weekend menu on Monday but if things change meanwhile the food keeps to following week anyway.

All i know is 'Kung He Fat Choy' or something like that.
I spent a long time with the Chinese population in Singapore.
