Morning Hicky ! How's the gazebo coming on? Am hoping to avoid slug pellets mainly because I don't want to collect dead slugs before the birds eat them!!!
Did you see Mr Titchmarsh on the telly last night , only caught some of it when I got in after watering, raised beds with storage drawers!!! And a 6k water feature nice result though!
Still not 100% get better as the day goes on, hubby says its mad cow disease, could well be

I'm building a scaffold around the gazebo to assist in doing the roof, had a load of planks over from the raised beds as i was going to make them all 3 planks high, until someone said 16" (400mm) is plenty, that left me with a dozen planks, they come in very handy at times.

I did have to pick up the slugs at the other place, the pellets work a treat, don't think the birds would eat the slugs because they are already dead.

Didn't see Titchmarsh, like him though.

I was thinking of a big water feature as i have a small submersible pump, only think is it delivers 120L of water a minute, thats 2 litres a second, wow, and it still delivers 25L minute at 5m high.
Don't know if i can restrict it any way.

It was another high pollen level today.
But there's lots of different pollens, from fruit trees and normal flowers to different grasses, they all give off pollen, that how they cross pollinate the fruit trees.

It's been hard to watch this year, purposely set up by BB.

I class Marc and Helen both as hellish.

I'm installing the scalloped green felt tiles to the roof of the Gazebo, garden finished, thats coming on well, growing wise.
Built a scaffold around the gazebo today to aid with doing the roof on my own.

Morning Hicky , rain on the way here , went to garden centre , advised slug pellets to zap the buggers , unfortunately the pellets safe for birds , wildlife etc not as effective and they don't stock them, they advised me to collect the dead and dying slugs and to use a bottle of salty water with lid to drown them in and to dispose of them down drain, not looking forward to picking them up!

Oh am just exhausted watching BB , seriously some people can say what they like, roll on Friday, Foggie had the right idea!!

I used to collect the dead slugs with a tool i made, simple really, get a 3ft cane and a a 3" nail, tape the nail to the end of the cane with spike pointing out, you only need a couple of inches of spike.
When you skewer the slug you just take the cane to were you want to dump it and slide it off the spike.
No need to drown them, they are already dead if you use what i use.

Yes, could be interesting who gets evicted tomorrow.
