Hi Lovely Foggie.

Yep, you sure need to get wrapped up warm.
Only -8 here last night and still frosty now.

Sun blazing down but more heat in a candle.
Hoping to get some work done in the garden later, if it warms up a bit.

I'm fine thanks, my O/H plays on FB, I find the Forums enough for me.
Sky is a con, you are paying all the money for a couple of programs as most are free anyway, but they make it sound as though they are giving you so many. con.
I've decide, if it's not free then they can stick it.
I can get programs in HD for free as well.
I've got Freesat, I'm going to get Freeview when I sort the aerial out, get a bigger dish and then I can get loads of Free to air as well.

The weather is a problem, not had much snow here, just hoping my Land-rover will cope if it comes here.
All vehicles should be 4 x4 then we wouldn't be in such a mess with a bit of snow.
We have had about 4 feet of snowfall in the last week, mr puck works for the council and has been out day and night sometimes only getting about 3 hours sleep to try and keep roads clear, but it was falling as fast as they could clear it
I am not complaining though cos I bought lovely new snow boots and i am toasty warm and dry in them
I work for the council as well and we got a text thanking us for making it to work in such bad weather ( i work with the elderly in the community ) then we get letters telling us if we can't make it to work it will be designated unauthourised unpaid leave ... charming
I was thinking about freesat as well hicky then i decided to look into bt and ended up getting phone , tv and broadband for almost half what i was paying when i had sky and aol so I am a happy bunny

Well done to Mr Puck for all his hard work keeping the roads clear, and you of course for your dedication.
You have to pay for all the other systems except for Freesat & Freeview, one uses the Dish the other the aerial.

My Lad has BT for his phones, Broadband and TV, he says its costing him too much and will change when the contracts up.

I'm just fed up for paying Sky £732 a year, and for what?
When 99% of it is free anyway.

Good Afternoon Everyone.

Another chilly day.
Happy Wednesday, not so happy for many though.
Lots of people still trapped or unable to carry on with their normal day to day business.

Hello Hicky
I agree about the cost of sky , I only had their basic package but it still cost me £21 a month , with Bt vision i get ESPN as well as all my on demand stuff which is well worth the money I have hundreds and hundreds of hours of free tv to watch with no ads which suits me fine and I get all my NHL hockey on ESPN.
with Phone TV and BB I pay only around £45 ( depending on calls usage ) a month compared with almost £70 plus call charges when I was with sky and AOL and for me BT has been a better BB provider so I am happy to stay with them

what are you trying to alter...?? Is it coming up with an error message or just nothing happening.? If there is a problem with your profile, which it sounds like it maybe, i would contact FS by "contact us" at the bottom of the page, explain your problem, there tech bods are very good and will fix it for you

Good Evening Lovely Foggie.

Had a great day, mostly in the garden, got my strings of light up, just need to supply them now, will sort the weekend.
Done a lot of work on the vine wires for them to grow along.

O/H has put the Crimbo tree up and the decs up, looking good anyway.

Hope you had a good day, and have a lovely weekend.

Good Morning Everyone.

Happy Tuesday.

TV a bit boring now, no good shows to watch, when does the next big show start, any idea's then?

The weather will be taking a turn for the worse from Thursday, not much we can do about that though.

Thank you Lovely Foggie.

I'm having a great day, off to my lads for a Greek meal in a Mo.
It will be a takeaway though, he isn't making it.
Been most of the day in the garden cutting up the pruning's from the Pagola when I pruned the Clematis and Wisteria.

Thank you Lovely Foggiee.

Had a lovely meal, got caught in the snow picking it up with my lad, it had just started snowing si I said lets go in the Landrover, it's ok he said I know where to go and where to park.
Well, as we arrived it was snowing a blizzard and by the time we got the food it was white everywhere, the roads where chaos and it's all small hills, we managed to get back home all right, had to use back streets as the main road was at a standstill.
We have a few inches now, still snowing, if it keeps on I'll have to take my O/H to work in the morning.
