It's 30C in the shade here at the mo.

Walking outside was like visiting Gemo in the States.

We've been trying to decide whether or not to go onto the pier before heading south and we think we may not. It is sooooo much more crowded with stuff than when I was last here. A trip on the big wheel would be good for the shots from the top of it but it seems you can only buy a day ticket for unlimited access to all the rides.

I have not been in one shopping mall on this trip. Maybe if we get down to San Diego quickly I can remedy that.

It does looks lovely everywhere there,
It would be a lovely sight from the big wheel, mind you things might look rather small.

There must be so much you'd like to get whilst browsing certain area's, malls.
Might be hard to get back out though.

I have done the view from the big wheel and it wasn't too brilliant. A lot of beach, a lot of sea and a lot of unrecognisable buildings. It's not worth the $50 it would cost to do us and it would delay us by at least a couple of hours.

On the link you posted, the two white towers to the right of the picture weren't here when I visited before. Our motel is a block behind them.

I agree, not worth the time & Money..

I would expect a lot to have changed really, it's 10 years isn't it, a lot can happen in that time.
