Definately not her fault... The public just didn't like Goldie (which I still cannot understand).. Kristina is an amazing dancer!
What name??

We have never actually seen her teach someone to dance successfully so it’s a bit odd that some people claim that she is a good teacher and blame all three of her partners. She's done good choreography at times but even this is a bit hit and miss.

I agree with another poster no matter what she wears she always end up looking "circa 1988 Hostess in a russian nightclub" - a little cheap and shiney - only dolly parton can make looking cheap look good :0)

Having said that when shes been interviewed ive always thought she was really nice.. its a shame her and Erin didnt get better partners - and im beginning to think the producers must be having an affair with Natalie, she always gets the best dancers.

I'm certain any of the female pros would have been amazing on tour with Ramps. He was already a brilliant dancer having won the TV show with Karen.

This may explain why her dancing in the Strictly tour was a bit hit and miss.”

It may also explain why Kristina and Mark were absent from the Tour show the night I went to see it in Glasgow (Feb 12th).

Angela,I totally agree with the underlined part.

But I didn't really take to Goldie so I do understand why he came last.

If that were the case you would think I would have jumped on this thread as an opportunity to say it's all Kristina's fault her partners don't do well. If you look on the first page you'll see I disagreed with that view, and also said although I don't think she is right for the show she should get a decent partner if she is asked back. Conversely I said I thought her choreo for Goldie in week one was naff- which is a fairly widely held view- and that I don't think Mark's success on tour is indicative of her popularity- which seems fairly logical to me, and I'm not the only person who has said so on this thread.

I do dislike Kristina. I don't pretend it is based on personal knowledge of her- I don't enjoy her dancing although I'm aware she is highly regarded in the dance world, and I don't enjoy her on screen persona. I don't need to know her background to have those opinions.

I wouldn't dream of criticising Kristina on an appreciation thread, but this is a discussion thread. It's acceptable for people who don't like Kristina to post on here. It is also clear that my post is my opinion only- through words like 'I think', 'in my opinion'. I haven't tried to pass it off as fact.

I actually feel sorry for her, no fault of her own. She either gets students who are notoriously to be desired or just not very popular ones. It's the luck of the draw I suppose.

I too think she has been unlucky. I have seen her Dance with Brian Fortuna at one of their PA's, they were fantastic and she was Stunning!

Natalie had a great record in the Australian show before she came here.

Ever thought she might be a great teacher?
