Loved the opening episode, I thought they did a great job of tapping into that dreaded feeling you have when your in a dream thats more of a nightmare, and that huge sence of relief you have when you finally wake and realize it was only a dream, especially when it involes people very close to you, but of course in this case the dreams are on going for luke and not ever having the abillity to dream before makes it all the worse for him because it would be enough to make him question what indeed is real and whats not....Even my other half said there were some bits that were worthy of an 18 cert due to the disturbing, mental torcher he was going through....not sure I would go quite that far my self lol....I thought the acting was pretty damn good and even Clyde didnt seem as wooden as in previous eps....cant wait for the second half later....great stuff..

Is this series staying on the CBBC channel or are they showing it on BBC1 proper at a later date?

How many mistakes can you make in one post?

Luke will definately be back in the series at some stage, although I imagine for just one story. Notice how in the opening sequence before the episodes, he is wearing a red top and his hair is slightly different. He is also standing on Rani's front garden, so this will be an entirelty new scene. He'll be back.

Loved the episode though, Part 2 was equally as good as part 1. The music has definately improved, although I wish that they would stop using that piece whenever the characters are safe and a sense of relief kicks in...anyone know what I mean, because that is the only thing that is bugging me.

loved Part 2!!! it really did Part 1 justice and overall i say it's the best series opener of the show this far and one of the top 5 best storylines the show has done i think (after The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith and The Temptation Of Sarah Jane Smith and personal favourite Mona Lisa's Revenge!) cannot wait for the rest of series 4

Enjoyed Pt 2 tonight and redeemed Pt 1, cant help but feel it was slightly rushed though, I suppose there's only so much story you can cram into 25 mins tho. Perhaps they should start doing 3 parters.

It definitely notched the score up to 4/5.

I thought part 2 was a little stronger as well. I like how Luke's exit was realised. Did feel the resolution was rushed in as much as the way to defeat The Nightmare Man seemed to easy in the end, still I'd rate this around 4/5 nonetheless.

not bad but a pity clyde is still in it. he is a pathetic actor and spoils the show. its high time they got rid of him.

Good two parter, definitely give it 4/5. Julian Bleach was great as the Nightmare Man, very creepy. I did think the Slitheen at start of part one was very green, much brighter than they usually are - is that for HD maybe?

I know SJA is aimed at kids but I really enjoy it.

My personal wish is for Clyde to be involved in Doctor Who related shows for the rest of the actors life for this very reason...

get rid of this crap actor. he spoils the show and you can tell he would be a smug git in real life.

A good storyline would be for them to discover that Clyde is a timelord and then he could have his own spin off show. That would be brilliant! *nods head sagely*

A pretty good start to the new series, although I thought Part 1 was superior (as I normally seem to think about two-parters). I have high expectations for the present series, and I'm really looking forward to

Spoiler

the return of Jo Grant!

Wouldn't it be great if Clyde became the Doctor's companion? He'd be really good in the part. I can see him getting on very well with Matt's Doctor.

I have always said that Clyde would make a great Doctors companion in the future.

It's a shame they couldn't repeat SJA on a Saturday evening on BBC1 as I think it's certainly good enough. Would make cracking Saturday evening telly.
