The way I'm seeing it bully is going to run a mock for a few months, Dixie is going to go on a hunt for Aj to beg him to return. It's a bit to NWO/Sting for my liking if this is what's planned.

I wouldn't mind it - people will say it rips off NWO/Sting but, to be honest, nothing has ripped it off well since it happened that I can really think of.
Closest was Austin returning to fight for Team WWF at InVasion but of course that turned out to be a swerve. It was one of the greatest storylines of all-time, and heck, if TNA can give us the pay-off at BFG that wCw failed to at Starrcade, then they deserve all the credit in the world for that, regardless of the A&E being a poor stable. |

Yeah forgot how the sting/nwo payoff was the pits. Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying the story so far, but I am hoping for JJ to return ether in A&8s or for TNA.
Anyone think king of the mountain should return at slamiversary with the winner going to BFG, instead of the BFG series? |

Watched it earlier myself. I suppose at the end of the day they can only work with the talent they have and Bubba was probably the only choice they could have gone with. It's not like they could have afforded to bring anyone major in either and Jarrett or Bischoff would have been an even bigger "meh" than D-Lo was.
The two people who are free agents at the moment who could possibly have been a bigger shock are Goldberg and Dave Batista, and neither of those would be interested. Loved the X Division match at the start. After watching wrestling for 25 odd years, it's rare that I can watch a match with spots i've genuinely never seen before and this had plenty - it even had Kenny King nearly killing himself as well The other match that stood out for me was the knockouts match. I was expecting it to be horrible but it just worked. I don't know if it was Gail carrying Velvet or that they just happened to click finally, but it was one of the best knockout matches i've seen in ages. The Lethal Lockdown match, as per usual, just got very, very boring. All in all, not a bad show though - not perfect, but not bad. |

It was a nice moment, but I don't buy Sabin as the TNA Champion.
Don't get me wrong it is very good indeed for him, but as a long term champion, I just don't buy it. |

From the other thread- Quote:
Bellator have announced a MMA ppv on 2nd November with Rampage vs Tito Ortiz as the main event. Chance of Rampage taking any bumps for TNA before then = zero.
I'd laugh if Tito was the mystery August 1st guy TNA are hyping online. [Flair, Perfect & Heenan] I don't mean to say I told you so, but, I told you so. [/Flair, Perfect & Heenan]

Odd TNA seem to be promoting the Bellator pay per view, but I guess Spike/Viacom is paying everyone's bills. Of course it depends how motivated each man is, but it wouldn't surprise me if Tito guillotines Rampage in round 1, devaluing Rampage to TNA. This mixed martial arts talk is now on topic in the TNA thread, bizarrely enough. |

Just watched "most" of BFG. They've obviously pushed somewhat of a reset switch with all the titles changing hands, so I suppose we'll have to see what they've got in store.
The Ultimate X match wasn't all that. The ending was utterly ridiculous. The "reluctant girlfriend/wife/manager" angle has been done a thousand times before and I honestly can't see how TNA will do it any different with Sabin and Sky. Angle/Roode was outstanding as expected. The main event was good, albeit a bit overbooked, but at least the right man won. They're apparently running an immediate rematch on Impact this week as well between AJ and Ray, so I hope they don't just put the belt straight back on Ray after all this. Couple of live reports from people in attendance actually have the crowd at around 900-1,200 which is just awful. |

Considering the line up and the potential, the UX match was pretty poor, agree with the above poster, the ending was very predictable and rather poorly done.
AJ v Bully was a botch fest, i was expecting a classic match, but this snooze fest was easily overshadowed by Angle v Roode which was awesome. The rest of the mid card was pretty average. All in all, considering the significance of BFG, this was a bit of a let down. The mass belt swap is always a ploy to grease ratings for the coming shows, they have done this before many times. Their biggest problem is they gave the UX belt to the wrong person. |

So TNA went through with it & had a taping end with Bully powerbombing Dixie through a table.
Which is gonna be interesting as Spike have apparently told them in the past they can't have any male on female violence at all ever, would be funny if their big finale gets left on the cutting room floor. |

It will be interesting to see how they handle it. I've seen some people suggest that maybe they're done with Spike so let's do anything. Who knows.
Do Challenge risk getting their knuckles rapped over something they should know the tv regulator is unlikely to find acceptable? Maybe they could argue "Hey in kayfabe she was asking for it". Or not.

From the 28 September taping results. Quote:
Cage match with escape the cage rules, winner gets a shot at Bobby Lashley's title. Eric Young and Bobby Roode co-won, landing on the floor togther over Austin Aries, Gunner, Magnus, and James Storm. They messed up the timing and live it was clear Young landed first, but played it up like it was a tie and the referees couldn't figure out who won.
LOL TNA.

Even the hardcore TNA sites aren't exactly excited with the card.
Try harder AJ. Shouldn't you be recording after dark right now or something |

Try harder with what? Lol
Shouldn't you be recording after dark right now or something Funnily enough, you seem to share a lot of his opinions on things, like Mizdow for example. |
