Completely agree with this. I don't think anybody has anything against regional accents or idioms, etc. The difference is that Alesha is being paid as a judge to articulate her opinions to the viewers. She gets paid more than the dancers or celebs do because her role is a SPEAKING part. It therefore grates with a lot of viewers when she makes these grammatical errors.

I have to say that I do think it's such a shame when Alesha is singled out and put down for her use of English - this is Strictly and not countdown lol.

The real issue is her being a judge and I think this year her comments are much better.

Previous winner with a touch of glamour is a nice touch but it should NEVER have been at the expense of Arlene - and that, as we all know, is the REAL issue.

Let's have Arlene back on board and the chemistry of the 5 of them would be brilliant

Personally I'd far rather see Karen Hardy or one of the other professional dancers who have been kicked into touch sit on the judges panel and give constructive comments to the couples rather than Alesha's "You woz amazing" ... and you can bet your bottom dollar she will appear in one of the shows to plug a new single ready for the Christmas market... method in her madness, but she is driving me mad with her lack or grammar and rather bland comments.

Calling her a judge is a complete misnomer because she is unable to spot any mistakes . This year all she contributes is 'you was great' and 'learn to relax'. Such a shame when there are many others available to fill that judges spot completely.

If the BBC are so desparate to have her on the show and waste £100,000 let her do some other role.
