My friend and I were trying to remember the name of a certain biscuit we used to enjoy.
They are very thin round biscuits with the edges being even thinner, a bit lacy looking and slightly browner.
Sorry, not a lot to go on.

langue de chat biscuits are similar I think, you can find them in most big supermarkets.

Here's a pic of them:

Very much like langue de chat but a round shape and thinner. But thanks for the info. I shall buy some 'cats tongue' (lol) to try them out.

squarish, crinkeld edges, with a graduated bake - biut I havent seen round ones

i find biscuits with a higher butter content taste nicer

Are you thinking of Barmouths?

I think me and my sister are the only living people to remember those biscuits (from the 70s/80s)!

I thought of Barmouths as soon as I saw this and was going to suggest them, but you beat me to it!

Ah Delilahcat - you have made me happy... someone else remembers them, so it's not just a figment of our imagination!

They sound as if they are the ones but I can't find a picture anywhere. They have been discontinued - typical!
