No one talks about Belle Amie

You would think they would be all over the media and discussion forums, but there's hardly any news or thread about them. Even John Incognito is getting more attention. And to top up things, Simon's attention seems to be focusing on 1 Direction.

Do they need to up their game, develop their personalities, do something outrageous?

It's probably a good thing at this stage. They can fly under the radar for a few weeks and have some hope of improving.

Yeah I think they need to try and fly under the radar a few more weeks - for me they have not gelled as well as the boys yet and seem very nervous live - not surprising with a new group

To be honest they are not very interesting. Diva Fever are more interesting then them.

Its not their fault. Most girlgroups have a personality lobotomy. Look at the Saturdays.

They should wear fake beards, sing songs about plants and nature..

....and call themselves the David Belle Amie's.

If only they were mentored by Louis.

maybe belle amie are the dark horses of the xfactor - getting through each week, eventually ending up in the final.

I thought that they made a mistake using the dark haired girl (I really don't know their names but it was the one that looked like she came on in her PJs) as the lead vocalist, she isn't the strongest member by far and kinda made me think they weren't up to par. However the ones on the left (our left rather than theirs) were a lot better but highly under used with allowing one to do the "ooooh" bit.

But if they put the dark haired girl with the PJs into the backing singers and bring the others forward I think they would be better.

I had high hopes for them after they auditioned at judge's houses because I was surprised at how good they were. Then we get to the live shows and it's clear that they do not translate well to the big stage as their performance was disappointing and very forgettable. I feel like they need something to enhance their performances, maybe some light choreography (no more than The Saturdays can handle), and a more cohesive image, not to mention better vocals. If they improve on these accounts, maybe I'll be more excited to watch them.

They DO resemble a mini-Saturdays. Void of personality so far, I'm afraid

I can't think why they were chosen as they are a clone of all other girlbands

I thought the other girl group would have been better (with the blonde mohican girl) as at least she made them stand out (so people would remember them)

Maybe Simon picked Belle Amie because they ARE forgettable/don't stand out - thus clearing the way for his 'chosen one' for this year - 1 Direction

I think they were extremely lucky to make it through the first week, but there's only so long they can survive on the judges asking for peopleto vote for them. (Which is what the whole girl power thing was about)

I really like the girls and think they have potential, but they really need to come out and do something completely out of the ordinary as soon as possible, because they wont be able to survive much longer by being decent, which is all they were this week.

I really like them. Not enough to vote for them yet. I do appreciate that almost any makeover nowadays for Asian girls, they get the heavy fringe!

Another day, another set of rumours about practically everyone in the house.
Except, of course, Belle Amie.

Not even speculation they might be gay?

They really are dull aren't they?! They better up their game. Crack addiction might be good for next week just for the "we might be a little bit interesting factor".

That doesn't really make any sense. If they're 'under the radar' then no one's going to vote for them. If we were voting to evict, then yeah, they'd be safe.

I reckon they're going on Sunday.

I think they're potentially good, cute and likeable, and certainly better than no direction. If teenage boys had the sense to vote for Belle Amie, they'd fly through. They need a great performance to stay in this week though, they messed up last week... I'm surprised they haven't got themselves out there more in the public eye... it's one aspect a bunch of attractive girls should have to their advantage.

Except that they're not very good. Not the best of ideas, pre or post-conceived.
