Don't forget the time they have spent together is equivalent to an ordinary couple dating for a year !!!!! Who else spends 24 hours a day together for almost three months in real life when they meet up.
Sam Dean said on twitcam the other night that from the date of meeting to the date of marriage for him and his wife was four months and a few weeks !! When you know... you know !!! Besides an engagement is simply an outer declaration of a couple's intention to one day marry. No one is rushing into setting a date. They can take as long as they like !!

It definately looks like an engagement ring to me but we know they are not going to announce anything at least until John gets back. It's going to be a long 10 days!

Your right, how many iof us spent that long with out other half before getting engaged, me 6 months but we werent living in each others pockets.
If it is a ring then as you say its a declaration, a commitment of their love and their future together, aw I feel all emotional now
The thing is australia was kept very quiet and done very quickly and no one eg sean and josie are saying much regarding him goin or when he is back therefore i susppect that maybe it may have somethink to do with a ring and thats why everythink is being kept hush hush.

She said on the Five show that it was early days as well but I thought it was strange that she started rubbing her cheek. I think something is going on and thats the reason for the visit home.

my mate got engaged after 3 months 4 years on there still engagaged

There is something weird going on with Josie's left hand but it' s NOT the same photo of her holding an item, as John can be seen behind her in that one and the jeweller has a different expression.

but there is two different pictures of her at her pa, she has it on her right finger on one but the wedding finger on the other
