I cant believe it Jonna leads the team to a win last week and this week is the only one with an idea which Boots wanted as an exclusive and some people want her to go. I hope she goes far, she does not hide like a lot of them

I really like her - yeah, she is a bit too outspoken, but she also talks a lot of sense. Telling Joy not to say sorry all the time was great! And even Melissa seemed to be supporting her in the boardroom, shaking her head when one or two of the others were laying into her.

I think she has performed well too, I'm surprised by all the animosity towards her.

she's our favourite - only one who talks any sense. You have to speak up in this show cos of all the screaming know-nothing harpies

She's on fire right now. So far she is one of the strongest candidates.

There is no way she should have been fired.

I think Joanna is really good, outspoken but if she can reign in it she can do well.

Her and Stella are the stand-outs for me so far.

I hope she goes far too, there's a lot to like about her; but she really does need to reel her gob in a bit.

Yep, she's very vocal but it's not nonsense that comes out of her mouth.

And I don't get all this "aggressive" rubbish. She actually has quite a soft demeanor.

I think they are trying to knock the competition. I knew she wouldn't go this week.

Sometimes when Alan Sugar really rates a candidate he kind of tips them the wink if one of their traits is less than acceptable.

I think he told her to reign in her aggressiveness because he sees something in her already.

Let's face it without her idea that lot would still be twiddling their thumbs trying to come up with an alternative.

She does have a soft demeanour which makes the whole agressive argument farcical. That word is thrown around way too much these days.

Joanna might get far if she learns from this episode, possibly to the final five or even second place, but I don't think she'll win. We have seen her type before, and even after they admirably tone down and change their behaviour, Sugar tends not to choose them. Unless he breaks with tradition of course.

Compared to Dan the Man last week, she's not aggressive in the slightest.

Having said that, she can be quite forceful, but again, compared to people like Debrabarr, Katie and Saira from previous seasons, she's delicate!

I really like her. she had to be assertive because that silly cow Laura would not even let her speak

Don't know why the others have taken against her. Silly cows!

I agree, I really like her. Led the team well on week one, and this week she seemed to be the only person with an actual idea, judging from the edit. I don't even think she was being aggressive or too overbearing, I think it was necessary for her to be as firm as she was because Laura was so indecisive and no-one else had any better suggestions.

The product may not have been perfect but Boots saw potential in Joanna's idea and wanted to develop it. Shame Laura didn't give them the exclusivity, that's what lost them the task, not the product/idea itself.

I thought that was the case too, he seems to like no nonsense forthright type people and I think he probably thinks she shows a lot of promise and is someone that he could possibly work with if she knows how to play the game with the team.

What was it 30 mins before they had to have a prototype and no one had an better idea. She didn't even talk over everyone like the rest did; dunno how much was editing but she seemed ot be constantly holding her tongue at the start when Laura kept cutting her off and only became a bit outspoken when they had no time left.

I wouldn't blame Laura for managing the team, it looked like it was harder than herding cats, but her exclusivity mistake should have been enough to fire her.

I have no problems with Joanna.

She's proactive and I don't find her intimidating in the slightest.

They all shout, but whilst the others are bickering, she's usually shouting out ideas.

I find Joanna very straightforward. You know where you stand with her. I'd have her on my team.

I think Joanna is assertive not aggressive. And Joanna had no problem managing the team last week, so I think the fact that they were out of control this week was due to Laura's complete inability to command any respect.

She certainly speaks a lot of sense most of the time, but she needs to be more respectful to the other candidates.

Could make the interview stage though, I think.

based on last nights performance I wouldn't have her anywhere near a team as she WAS intimidating last night. It wa suprising as last week she was supportive and encouraging.

She really does need to learn that you dont need to shout to be heard, sometimes you ccan acheive much more by the quiet appropriate word

I would say that las night she tippe over to being aggresive , but the previos week was assertive rather than agressive

Karen had a valid point though , most of the women behaved like harridens and were embarassing as representatives of their sex in buisness.

Possibly the reason she was shouting, at times, is because everyone else was and she wanted to be heard as well? I remember at the start of the meeting, she said she had an idea, and was closed down immediately without being able to voice it. And I think she is possibly one of those people who doesn't realise that she comes across as a bit shouty, like when she was saying to Joy in the car to stop apologising after everything she said, I dont think it was her intention to be confrontational, but she is very to the point.

Must admit, I am a fan

I think she tried that approach several times and was shouted down or simply ignored. Laura constantly talked over her and so she had to shout to get her point accross.

She's my favourite so far and I would love to see a normal girl doing well. Sod this " I've got a degree and I control multi million pound portfolios " crap. Joanna has her own cleaning company and is obviously a grafter.

I have a feeling she could become a Badger .....

Brilliant point - after all, just about all ther girls called her aggressive. And she left school without going to uni and runs her own successful company so she's a hands-on entrepreneur which is going to appeal to him.

Personally, I didn't find her aggressive. I'm not saying it was racially motivated, but i's easy for a group of white girls to call the single black girl aggressive because she's outspoken. I thought Laura was trying to undermine her and sideline her. And by sacking Joy, it shows Joanne was on the money when she criticised Joy for being so apologetic.

The problem is, if a group of people perceive you in a partricular way, you sometimes have to change your behaviour to get your point across so it doesn't become a problem in future weeks.
