In a couple of my previous posts, I have been rather rude about poor old Raleigh ("unemployed graduate" didn't impress me), but after hearing the latest news I'm sad he went, although I understand his reason perfectly well.

He's definetly not the first to leave due to concerns about family, but If I had been in his position, I would have done the same. Still, it was sad to see him go.

He had the potential to be great fun, and I sincerely hope he comes back to help out at the final. All those who wish to pay their best DS respects to him and his brother, and who want him to come back for the final, please feel welcome to do so.

Well Said, I liked him on week 1 loved the way he put down Dan.

Shame he had to leave, but your right family comes first.

He may be known for saying 'It was shameful!', but there's nothing shameful about the honorable way he left the show. Speaks volumes about who he is as a person.

I'm glad he was given his due on 'You're Fired'.

I agree.. I would have liked to see more of him. not because i think he would have won. but he had entertainment value written all over him. He's a very decent guy and i wish him well with his new venture ... good on the beeb for giving him such a good dollop of publicity
