What a very uninspiring episode (2) that was.

That has got to be one the worst episodes of the apprentice I have ever seen.:sleep:

It was good to see Stella do well with the boys - but yeah, agreed. Very dissapointing. Both teams sold badly, and the sales figures for the winning team were lower than those of the losing team for a similar task in the previous adult TA series. Also, first product that got no sales whatsoever - not a good sign. Not to mention a girls team that bickered constantly.

I thought it was pretty good. Lots of incompetence, lots of arguing - thats what the Apprentice is all about.

True, but the best episodes are usually the ones with a horrible team and massive incompetence contrasted with a well-performing team and great victory. That's why the Marrakech episode was so popular.

Sugar and Brady were shocked by the girls' bickering in the boardroom but that sort of thing been going on since series one! The appeal of the show is the arguing. I'm not sure the girls arguing in episode two was any worse than in previous series. Perhaps Sugar and Brady have short memories.

It was'nt just the arguing but the sheer incompetence, it really was quite amateur.

I remember at least one team having a similar melt down in the boardroom, but I think Karen's point was that they were behaving like that throughout.

It did strike me that maybe the task was unusually difficult? The tasks where they have to design things usually stretch the teams, but the brief was very vague, and there really wasn't much scope for the imagination in creating a new product for the beach.

Having said which - the book holder was a mad idea, for all the reasons given here and by the buyers.

It was an uninspiring episode if you were looking to employ some of them, but for a viewer it was very enjoyable to watch.

Fire me if you like but I think that the book holder wasn't such a bad idea, the problem was by the time they agreed on this there was no time left to design a good product. i have a blueprint here if anyone is interested.

Know what you mean, but it was the task I disliked rather than the way they played it (which was also admittedly inept)
