Im sure that nowadays most songs are auto-tuned, but can you think of any you think are just over auto-tuned?

I find that all of Ke$has music is auto-tuned
Also JLS - The Club Is Alive seems to be very auto-tuned and also The Saturdays - Higher is too.

There not exactly REALLY auto-tuned but I don't understand why the sats and JLS need to use it because they are great live

But anyways, is there any more you think are ridiculously auto-tuned?

Ke$ha's Take It Off is definitely over auto tuned.

Piece of Me by Britney is a bit too autotuned. But I still like it, she's flawless.

You can use auto-tune live as well you know - did you miss the X-factor back lash on it's use on the first live auditions

It's hard to tell the different these days - all the singers vertially sound the same.Perhaps you can just about seperate the male singers from female. Not that I listen to the radio that much - I just find the robotic voices so irritating.

i don't really notice it TOO autotuned really lol. but i love the effects and distortion of Piece Of Me! it's really good, i love Britney's energy in her voice. Bloodshy & Avant know HOW to use it! and agree Brit is flawless glad she's going in a new direction for her next album though. 3 again had autotune for effect with Max Martin's production, but again EPIC!

JLS however are inexcuseable!! Club IS Alive is just a mess of an autotuned song! it's just WHAAA?!??! and several of Cheryl Cole's abuse the auto tune system.

Using it for effect of the song, SURE! using it as TOTAL reliance, just careless!!! KE$ha overuses auto tune, and Gaga uses it a fair ammount of her songs, although not a fan i am glad Gaga can prove herself live!

LMAO, the saturdays - higher?

flipping hell, if you think that's one of the most auto tuned songs ever, that's pretty weak.
However, i do agree with Kesha, and TCIA, that's just a terrible song.

The saturdays used the autotune to fit in with the song, but i must admit as a fan, it sounds better without

But seriously dude, you need to open your eyes if you think the likes of the sats use it.

1) WILL.I.AM.
2) CHERYL COLE.
3) JOE MCELDERRY (LOL)

do I need to go on? :/

i know, but when you look back at their past records, it's not used in EVERY song.

(bar karma in headlines!, but again, that's one of them songs)

The likes of Ke$ha, Will.i.am, Cheryl Cole etc use it in every single song.

Atleast the sats release music which doesn't need autotune, e.g. issues, forever is over, ego, work, just can't get enough.. etc..

Kanye West's last album, 808's & Heartbreak, was really autotuned, because he was "singing". When he raps though there isn't any autotune, so it's great.

Ke$ha heavily relies on autotune, but I quite like her songs regardless.

Mr Hudson also used autotune on quite a few songs on his last album Straight No Chaser.

Lil' Wayne uses it all the time too.

And I hate to say it, but All Time Low's last album Nothing Personal used a fair bit of autotune, which was annoying because it really didn't need it as Alex Gaskarth is a fantastic singer, as proven on their first two albums and EP.

Owl City uses it too.

Pixie Lott is terrible for it, but people don't seem to realise

The Saturdays. Missing You. What a horrible, cold, void of all emotion song. You'd have thought they'd want emotion in a ballad!

Well the opening verse of Missing You is autotuned a bit but the rest isn't, not as far as I can tell anyway.

I think autotune is fantastic, and has made some of my favourite songs. I can't understand why people talk about it like it's a bad thing.

As others have mentioned, we're all very aware that people like JLS, Usher, Fergie, etc. are fantastic singers. Autotune is used because it improves how the song sounds, simple as. Using autotune is not much different to using a synthesizer. I don't really see the big deal.

Also, another thing that annoys me is how people yell "autotune" whenever they hear any computerized effects on vocals in a song. There's a plethora of special effects you can apply to vocals in a song.

Daft Punk use it as a style not as a cover up for poor vocals, though.

I absolutely adore this song.

I think it's haunting.

Hide & Seek by Imogen Heap as well.
