Himself says he hates anchovies. If only he knew - he's been eating them for more than 20 years. I bung them in stews and casseroles and in the roasting tin when I'm making gravey. I find that if it's a beef dish they just add that little extra depth of flavour.
He loves Tarts Pasta ( pasta puttanesca) and has orated a few times that my puttanesca is better than any he's had when we've been eating out.
