I know this is a long shot, but having watched QI last week they were discussing various deep fried delicacies in Scotland. They mentioned a 'Stonner' (scottish slang for an excited penis) which is a sausage wrapped in donner meat, battered and deep fried.

I know this may turn some peoples stomachs but I really want to try one.

Does anyone know where I can get one?

A link for the original story is here

I have looked for the Ruby Chip Shop to no avail.......

I live near you and I've never come across anywhere that sells one of these.

The place that sells these is apparently the Ruby chip shop on Old Dumbarton Road.

Never come across anywhere that sells this, but you could always phone round to see if anywhere is willing to make one up specially?

Maybe he should have charged more

I remember the QI episode and wouldn't have minded trying one (or the infamous Muchy Box - not mention on the show though there's been a few threads on it here).

I also remember Doon's mime of eating a curly wurly

What is there not to like about a Munchy Box?

They are immense.

That's a 16" pizza box btw.

A few years ago I found a takeaway near the Concert Hall, only about 5 mins walk from Queen Street Station, that did Risotto Milanese. This was tasty and stood out as it is rare for any takeaways to cook this, although they also have an eat-in section.

The heart attack that eventually follows after years of eating them?

I'd like to try an "authentic" one.

I had a cheats version the other week. It consisted of a 10" margarhita, half chips, half kebab and chilli and garlic sauces.

It only cost £2.50

and that was classed as a kids special
