Almost like she is celebrating.
Its starting to look like Jordan might have been controlling her which is so sad when you think of everything she went through with her father.

Oh my gosh, this may be true actually! I mean although i love that she kept herself to herself and had her focus on her album, but i did feel something was restricting her, I thought it was RCA really pushing her back like they wante the era to fail etc.
But actualy i think hr music expressed herself on the album, making all those emotions come out through song and pen to paper, she obviously loves Jordan but couldn't handle herself in a relationship that was so controlling.
It's even more tragic when you think of everything she went through with her own father and childhood so yeah agree with you there Pop_Art about that and it does sound such a shame but obviously Jordan didn't like her when she went on tour in 2007 and promoted Back To Basics which is why Bionic wasn't promoted for as much as it should have.
Anyway as sad as it is i am glad she has found herself and is aligning herself up for more interviews and international promotion in a way of celebration.
Reminds me of Madonna's and Sean Penn's relationship in some way in the mid 80's they were like 'power couple' but whenever either of them were busy promoting something or filming or recording etc. it would spiral out of control and although they had a mutual respect for each other they decided it was right to split...and by the sound of her songs on the epic Like A Prayer album, their relationship was pretty intense!
I hope Christina gets Bionic back out there and promote Burlesque, Bionic is such a rare pop album in that it connects with you emotionally and also there are some very anthemic songs there too, i hate that it wasn't given the right attention! but now it seems as though we'll be seeing a lot more of her...should never Hold Her DOwn!!
