Received New Powerline Adaptors from BT Today
As the title says.
I didn't buy or request replacement adaptors so I was surprised to receive them. A letter was included saying that BT and Comtrend were aware that some were becoming brittle and could easily be broken if impacted by, for example, a vacuum cleaner. The case of one of mine did crack a few months back and that adaptor subsequently stopped working last month (not sure if there was a connection though), but seeing as I had a spare, I replaced it with that and didn't think any more of it. BT are requesting that the old ones be sent back for recycling. Anyone else received the same? |

I recently got 2 new black ones as my white ones became faulty.
I did not receive a returns envelope to return my white ones, phoned BT to tell them this and was told not to worry about returning them. Then at the weekend I got another 2 new black ones as part of the recall. So i now have 4 black adapters and 2 whites ones which are faulty and I can now send back as the latest set of black ones included a returns envelope. Bit of lucky timing and I end up with an extra set of adapters
