Vision On Demand 'Content not available'

Hey!

In the two years plus I've had this box, I've never had a problem with it. A solid, reliable piece of tech thats never let me down.

Now my sons been waiting for a series to come back onto the on demand section, which it now has.

So last night, he sat down, accessed the OD section and pressed select.

Only to be hit with the message 'Content not available, Ring BT on 0800 111 4567'.

Everything else was in that catorgory, 'cause we tried it, so the box was working, just not the selected content.

So I rang BT, got straight through, very helpful and polite guy looked into it, and after 3 mins said 'Oh-err, I'm going to have to escalate this, this is way over my head!'.

And I actually thanked him for admitting that, and for not giving me some tech-know babble bs.

'This will be investigated and we'll call you back with the outcome within 24/36 hours'.

I've gone onto the on demand section today and the series has just disappeared! Kaput! It is no more! A deceased parrot! (So their obviously looking into it).

Has anyone else ever encountered this problem before?
