I think it's too early to say who's going to win. If the show was ending next week I'd say that it would be a toss up between Pamela, Kara and Scott. I can't quite choose between them yet. Although I will say that my dislike for James makes me not want to vote for Pamela despite thinking she's fabulous, so I think unpopular pros can hinder the celebs. I'm hoping when it gets to the end that'll have disappeared and I'll be able to enjoy her despite her irritating pro partner.

Also, previous to tonight I only liked Kara because she's such a beautiful dancer. But tonight made me really love her actually. Her and Artem are extremely cute together. I think after tonight I have two favs - Scott & Natalie and Kara & Artem.

god I hope not. I cannot stand her and he reminds me of Nathan from BB - enough to put me off. I don't think his dancing is all that either. Think he is being overmarked.

I think it could be between Scott, Kara, Matt and Pamela. Very open.

I agree. Can't see past these 4 myself but I think it's too early to say that any of them is a front runner but that makes it exciting.

I thought Scott and Natalie's dance tonight was fabulous. I've watched it several times over, and it improves every time. He isn't more talented than Matt, but he is given better dances by Natalie.

I agree, I thought their dance was great http://wp.me/p124B5-Tx

I have really been enjoying watching them, if Natalie calms herself in the "arrogant" department then they have a good chance of winning, a good few couples are in the running though, i am enjoying this series.

Scott and Kara really give me a buzz, also like Pamela but not totally convinced yet about her.

I'm loving that we have a number of good couples this year but Scott and Natalie are probably my favourites at the moment, partly because I thought he'd be as wooden on the dance floor as he is on 'enders and it's nice to be proved wrong.

Last nights quickstep was the first time I have watched them and enjoyed it. Before that it was all just a bit too manic.

Having said that the music and style of the dance is fast and manic so perhaps it was just a coincidence. I will have to see if she loses the manic, throw everything into the choreography but the kitchen sink approach from now on.

Seconded.

I think they are very good, and they are definite contenders for the title. He also seems to be improving on a weekly basis, which is interesting to see. Although Natalie was never my favourite pro, she must be a very good teacher (although her abilities have not been tested with someone like Peter Shilton or Paul Daniels, of course).

I forgot to tell everyone that Scott I believe nearly killed a man. Would suggest everyone reads that DS article before voting for him.

Don't be silly. The best dancers never win SCD. GBP doesn't really like very good dancers because they always think they're 'smug' or conceited, or 'hard to warm to' or whatever takes their fancy

They prefer someone who is OK and does a role play throughout - i.e. sweet puppy, manic vicar, butch but humble, etc. etc.

Here's the link

He got smacked in the chest with a steel pipe and retaliated in self-defence with such ferocity that he worried he might have killed the man he hit, who was coming at him and his friend (who was being racially abused by their attackers) with a baseball bat.

And at this point I would be happy for anyone of them to win.

I saw it. It is a neatly timed publicity story - possibly to precipitate gossip and rumours. It will not make me assume that he is some vicious thug. As an ex journo I will wait until I have all the facts before I go all drama queen and decide he needs to be locked up. I suggest everyone stops panicking and deciding his fate - and his dancing - before the actual truth is revealed.

Are we grown ups, or what?

We have to look at reputation aswell, probably exaggerated but it's doccumented evidence. Yes we are grown ups.
