Very critical about Matt and Jimi's dances. Must be a touch of DWTS de ja vu. Anyone agree?

Not really think he was rather good tonight

Sadly I had to agree with him about Jimi.....he did look a bit contorted at times.

Len was putting Aliona on notice that he doesnt like the gimmicks.....he has put up with wellies and binoculars in the cha cha cha and that ridiculous ending in the foxtrot but felt enough was enough and I agree.

it was the weirdest marking from all of them.

Bruno veering from under to over marking

Len on a different planet

Craig veered from being generous to being mean

The other judge is just copying from the person on her right.

God knows what they will do next week

Everyone was critical of Jimi's dance. This is because there were some problems with his technique.

Len's mark wasn't particularly out of line with the other judges. He's always more critical of those which he thinks have potential which they are not realising.

Suppose you have a point.

Thankyou You're not supposed to acknowledge someone has a point on this forum. Or at least it's a rare event:

I thought Len's marking was rubbish tonight.

As if Matt and Peter were on a par with eachother in the quickstep.

Len always gets grumpy about this time. It's usually because of jet lag from also doing DWTS in America. I presume he's doing it again this year?

Did he not get really grumpy about this time last series as well? Must be because of all the flying between the US and here. Hope he cheers up a bit though, it got on my nerves tonight.

What a shocker! Matt is in a different league to Peter! Hope Len realises his mistake and tries harder next week. That mark has made me register with digital spy!

Hello and welcome

I don't think Len was particularly annoying tonight.

But, I find him very annoying all the time, so that might be why!! I wish he would stick to only DWTS - I don't have Sky, so I can't watch it!

There should be a webstream so we can watch it.

I'm not sure that I could cope with double doses of Len and Bruno

Bruno is fine at the moment - although later in the series, when the jet-lag starts to catch up with him, he can be a bit extreme! Len is just annoying all the time!

He did seem a little grumpier than usual tonight, perhaps somebody stole his pickled walnuts.

If you think Len was grumpy tonight, you should see him on DWTS. He's the grumpiest man in Grumpy village!!

I usually watch DWTS on a Saturday morning, then SCD on Saturday night. Life's just one long dance for me on a Saturday!!

He seemed very irritated about the audience booing before he'd got the chance to finish his talk. I have to agree though - it's very rude and annoying.

I disagree op. At last Len has woken up and seems to be marking more like the expert judge he is and his comments are also more technical which I and I'm sure lots of others enjoy.

I agree with you.

Len has never liked gimmicks - I tend to agree with him, but don't mind them providing they are not overdone, and in keeping with the dance. The pros are well aware of Len's preferences, but they know at worst he will only mark them 1 mark down, and they have to appeal to the general public as well.

LOL - not surprising he is grumpy on dwts, sitting as he does between the children ........... sorry, Carri Ann and Bruno!!! They're enough to make anyone grumpy!

And then on Saturdays he has Craig and Bruno ...... 'nough said!

If you don't like Matt that much, I will refer you to the week3 fav.couples and that will tell you Len was wrong judging by how popular Maliona are and will be for the rest of the tournament.

I'm trying to see where I said that I "don't like Matt that much"?

It's not Len's job to judge how popular a couple will be - that's the viewers job. His (and the other judges) job is to comment on the dance as he/they see it.
