The Changeling from 1980 (I think). Very creepy atmosphere, classic ghost story about revenge from beyond the grave. It easily beats all those overrated Asian ghost flicks from the last 15 years or so... and their American remakes.

if we're looking east then ....... a touch of zen. used the dripping water trick long before Tarkovsky cottoned on .........
big trouble in little china. entirely for comic effect but it IS a ghost story ! |

Stir of Echoes, it still gets me the clip when he's watching the tv and sits back and the girl is sitting there staring at him....chills even now talking of it!!!!!

Another vote for the Changeling (1980)..
A stunningly atmospheric and scary film with a wonderful investigative theme to boot, and superb acting. Probably the best ghost film in my collection. |
