OMG really? I would have guessed about 49!

That's answered my earlier question then! I know she's had some Botox on her face which gives her a rather startled look but she has a great body for a lady of more mature years. Looks like she's lost a fair amount of weight too with all that dancing.

Just love Pamela! She has the right outlook for this show & looks like she's having so much fun! She looks fabulous!

I couldn't believe that Pamela was 60!

Every week her & James' routines amaze me, I know there was a stumble last week, but still... their routines are spot on every week and she really connects to all the dances.

She is fantastic, her enthusiasm is real, and is a natural dancer !! She is so supple for a 60 year old 'is she really that age' ?? James brings the best out of her also, really like him

Disagree with you. The cosmetic assistance might enhance her appearance but that apart the lady can move and she has the personality to carry it through.

Good for her! She's obviously kept herself in shape. She looks great and is very fit. I'd love it if she got to the final. She's a great all rounder.

I didn't realise until today that one of her & Billy's 3 adult
daughters has severe learning difficulties - she calls her "my special needs woman" apparently.

Maybe that's why she is almost overcome with emotion when she hears such praise from the judges. If she has spent years and years raising a family and one with special needs then this dancing is just for HER and her alone and must feel wonderful.

Come to think of it, she has kept her family life very quiet. I can't ever remember seeing pics of any of her kids. Unlike the Olivers, Ross family, Geldofs etc.

Not really - I gave credit where credit is due.

You may be right about her physical "enhancements", but even so, there is (unfortunately!!) no enhancement in the world that can artificially turn someone into a talented dancer.

Pamela has a natural movement and musicality; I thought her rumba tonight was the most genuinely moving rumba by any celeb on any of the series.

And good for her - she is a credit to everyone in the "free bus pass" bracket!!

Don't disagree kaycee - Pamela is a talented dancer and that rhumba deserved top spot on the leader board .

I read the Guardian and her column makes me cringe. I just can't take to her and I'm actually dreading the next appearance of her OH the Big Yin.

I totally agree with you, but can I add that she really genuinely seems to be enjoying herself and taking it all in the right spirit. I love the obvious friendship between her and James. In fact, her whole attitude is why I think I would be supporting her even if she was not as good a dancer as she is! (Does that make sense? It does in my head )

Got to say, she is one of my 'favs' at the moment. Great dancer, great artistic expression, great personality which shows in her dancing. She has a 'non-dancer' body (though it's a gorgeous one) and she dances like a pro half her age. The only sticking point I think for the general masses is that she keeps hitting top of the leader board, and as I said earlier, the public like an under dog who has shown improvement. I couldn't care less about her body enhancements, good for her.

Not for me personally, but I also think the toy boy/cougar thing will start to turn people off her if she doesn't tone it down. A huge amount of the public seem to be off put (threatened?) by a sexually dominant woman above a certain age. Heck, the majority of people tend to scorn dominant women generally, but that's out of the scope of this thread. As I say, that's not my feelings, just my what I see.

Anyway, I'm definitely in the Pamela camp at the moment, along with a few others.

Wish I had her figure, suppleness and ability. And she's old enough to be my Ma. Pretty impressive.

At least she admits it, which is more than her fellow competitors do. I highly doubt that she is the only one to have botox (in fact, I know she isn't!) and cosmetic surgery.
