So here we have the biggest mobile operator in the UK in the year 2010, and Vodafone have no customer support after 9pm?

I mean what is this company thinking that we're all asleep? Maybe we don't use mobiles or the internet (YES GUESS WHAT MORE PEOPLE ACCESS THE INTERNET DURING THE EVENINGS!!!! No good if your using a Vodafone dongle or accessing the internet via your phone and something goes wrong as Vodafone staff are at home)

So for many of us that cannot phone during the day for whatever reason or something goes badly wrong with the network there is nobody to talk too.

Well done Vodafone - Damm it's 11:30pm I should of been in bed at 9....

Orange and O2 are exactly the same.

Switch to 3 or another provider that has 24 hour support then if that's what you need!

They aren't the biggest in the UK by a long way you know both O2 and T-Orange are bigger in the UK.

I actually think 3 close at 2/3am for some reason...That may be old but i think ive seen that somewhere. If its right they might aswell be 24 hour anyway!

If you are an Orange Premier customer you will get 24hour dedicated customer support.

To be an Orange Premier customer though you have to spend a lot per month.

While you're right about Orange Premier, you're wrong about 3 (at least in my experience) - I've called 333 myself between 3am and 5am before a few times and they've answered (they even rung me straight back once).

Virgin Mobile offer 24/7 customer service too I believe.

That amazes me because i would have thought if any services would be available 24hours it would be lost or stolen.

We called with a pretty standard query - nothing to do with a lost or stolen phone!! We were quite suprised that someone answered at that time and they were really helpful!

Well this surprises me it seems Vodafone don't even know what hours they are open for customer support. I have often called 151 after 9pm and had a message stating lines are closed however please hold if your phone is lost or stolen. If anybody who has a contract phones wishes to call after 9pm via 151 (Customer Services) - they will hear the closed message.

Some staff at Vodafone seem to think they are open 24hrs others not, it's makes me think because they have call centres all over the world, it depends if your call gets routed through to a call centre which is open or closed.... This is a total mystery
