Craig Was Spot On About The Moves Paul Daniels Did!
Styker

What was Ola thinking of making Paul do those spinning around moves? He looked really dizzy doing the one with his hands joined together! First and only time I saw someone do that before Paul did it, was 2 little kids dancing to the Men In Black tune in a cinema foyer!

What was the name of the move again? Rubereria or something was it?

Looks like he's the favourite to go, but wouldn't mind seeing him stay, would be funny and at some point he's bound to lose his rag I reckon.

It looked like he should be aged 2 and a half , dressed in his Mummys high heels and doing a little twirl for his Nana when she came to tea .

Like I said, what was Ola thinking?

Probably trying to play to his strengths .... and then finding out that he didn't have many.

He's a bit of a plonker but I always like to watch Ola - she's lovely.

She's not looking as good as she did in the previous 2 years, maybe she's deliberatly doing that, getting too much attention.

I'm quite impressed at how her husband doesn't seem to mind one bit, or doesn't look the slightest bit jealous with all the attention she gets or when the dance partners get to close to her etc. Very confident Mr Jordan huh?

I suppose as confident as his wife is seeing her husband getting close to his female partners.

But she's better looking than him. He's the one who's landed on his feet looks wise with her etc.

With Pam he certainly did.

(I meant James, of course)

I don't think anyone looks their best on TV. On the pro tour she looked stunning

They both say in interviews that it's pointless getting jealous when they know they're going home with each other. They'd rather concentrate on being supportive

I take the opposite view on make up. Surely with the professional make up artists that make them up, that they will look beter on tv after the make up is applied?

A good anology is The Apprentice. On the official website they have their audition video's and the hot ladies don't look nowhere near as good as they do fully dolled up by I presume professioanl make up artists. The best looking one, Liz, imo her face looks bigger before as well. Looks very thin now.

I'm just basing that on my personal opinion, having met her and also sat a few metres away from the stage where she was dancing, I think she's even prettier in real life than what you see on the show. And I've met her both before and after she's had her stage make-up put on

I thought you were referring to the saying that TV makes everyone look like they've gained a few pounds, rather than anything particularly to do with make-up.

Perhaps Ola figured that if a bit of comedy can work for her and Ann where there are similar limitations, it could work for her and Paul; obviously it didn't, but perhaps she could be forgiven for thinking it might?

Ola's choreography has definitely improved in the last couple of series; I thought her showdance for Chris was a brilliant bit of comic dance that really told the story the way it was supposed to.

She tried a similar narrative with Paul's rumba, which I thought was totally ignored by the judges in favour of criticising the deliberately comic steps that were used. IMHO, it still contained a reasonable amount of 'proper' rumba steps and the comic moments should have been seen for what they were. Plus she was spot-on in not trying to do a sexy rumba with Paul, knowing that would go down like a lead balloon with everyone watching.

It was a damn sight cleverer than Anton's attempt to make Ann's salsa funny last week, and deserved more credit than it was given.
