Just finished catching up with last night's show - I MISS BRIAN FORTUNA so much! Yes, he made the right decision to leave, but I still miss him not being on our screens every week.

To answer the OPs question, personally no, I don't miss him at all. He was by far my least favourite pro, and unfortunately the only one I have a negative memory of from the pro tour, he was the only one I saw completely ignoring fans, which didn't endear him to me at all. Was never a fan of his dancing either and I personally prefer Kristina dancing with Robin.

I do however miss Matt, Ian and Lilia a lot!

I have seen Brian perform at least 10 times in the last few months and I have never seen him be anything but lovely and generous with time towards his fans.

I am sorry but if you really believe that any of Ali's latin dances were the best ever then you REALLY need to get out more. She was a beautiful ballroom dancer but with the latin she danced the steps but didnt get the feel right. I doubt it was even the best salsa of the series, I have tried to wipe all of last series from my memory apart from Chris and Ola.......oh and Anton and Lailas Salsa which will always have a special place in my heart for all the wrong reasons.

He ignored the fans the night I saw the pro tour in Southampton, walked straight past people who were asking for quick pics and autographs, kept talking to his companion (wasn't Ali) and straight across the road. He was nice to friends I was with in Birmingham when he ate in the same restaurant as we did (I was at the stage door at the time), but unfortunately I didn't ever see that side to him, as he didn't come over to our side of the stage door in Bournemouth either.

I can understand why he wouldn't have been in the greatest of moods that Southampton night as the press about the pro changes came out a couple of days later, but I'm just being truthful about my experience of him compared to the other pros I met (and I didn't meet all of them, so I can't comment about Matt or Aliona), fact is he behaved very rudely that night, didn't even say that he was sorry, he didn't have time to stop, which I would fully have understood.

Well each to their own, its a good job that everyone has a right to an opinion and I will keep favour with mine! you can do the same. I will not keep this series in my mind because I haven't watched a great deal of it - what I have seen has been very poor! (in my opinion!)

I still miss Brian - but things change and I acknowledge that.

I didn't get the chance to meet Brian at the Celeb tour at Wembley or O2 and when I saw him with Kristina the weather didn't encourage me to wait outside, however during the pro tour at both Hammersmith and the final show in Bournemouth he spent ages talking to us and having pics taken. Again during BTF (which I saw just a few times...) he was brilliant, people outside the stage door after every show and he always came out and talked to people and had his pic taken.

You may have got him on a night when he was rushing to catch a train back to London.

Brian is a huge huge miss for me. With the added loss of Matthew and Lilia and to a lesser extent Ian and Darren the show just feels flat to me.

I didn't realise just how much watching my favourite pros are an integral part of my viewing pleasure and this series i don't really love any of those left and the only one i look forward to watching is Flavia.

Yes, he was a great interviewee last year - and a great dancer. Took his work very seriously.

Brian is certainly a good dancer, but I was never convinced by his choreography - particularly his choreography for his celebs.

Even with Ali, who was without question a talented dancer, I felt he over-choreographed. So much so that she was often unable to keep up with the faster routines, adding to the "rabbit in the headlights" look she so often had already.

I miss Ian and Matt far more. They are both superb dancers and skilled at teaching: Ian in particular excels at giving confidence to nervous celebs.

I accidentally knocked Brian's coffee mug all over the autograph table at Blackpool; he was very gracious. That's good enough for me.

Fair enough, I was a bit preoccupied talking to Ola in Bournemouth, so I didn't notice he was there for about 10 minutes, and missed Matt altogether! But it was his lack of manners that jarred with me in Southampton. Train or no train, he could have said 'sorry, I'm in a rush', and then I would have understood, but it was a total blank to some girls who clearly wanted to meet him and were bit fans. But I guess everyone has their off-days.

Sad you think that of Brian I had the pleasure of meeting Brian at the BTF and he was wonderful to the fans. He spend a long time chatting to my 9 year old daughter who came away completely starstuck and the first thing she said wasn't he nice mum and she was right. Maybe he had to rush of that night you saw him I don't know. But what I have read from the other guys who have seen the pro tours, when he toured with kristina he always spend a lot of time with his fans.

Brian is a fantastic dancer and teacher..and i really miss him from SCD...himself and Kristina stole the show in the Pro dances..

Outside of that i was lucky enough to meet him a couple of times and he is such a lovely person and a pleasure to speak too.

I also miss Matt,he is also a fantastic dancer and teacher..they were my 2 favourites.

Eyebrows?

(Sorry, Brian fans )

Gotta say, I watch the show as a whole, in fact I'm on tenterhooks between the end of the Tour and the new series starting, so one element is not missed if it's replaced by another for me.
I'm kind of flighty in that respect, but there are always videos on youtube

Careful now. There might be young Brian fans reading who would be very upset with that kind of thing

Besides, I believe Brian donated his eyebrows to the Natural History Museum before leaving, all in the interests of science.

Brian was brilliant in Bournemouth, when James and Ola's car came up he made sure we were all out of the way and didn't get hit!!! Did this for a couple of cars and again during BTF where the stage door was on a side street!!! An amazing traffic warden!!! But seriously was genuinely looking out for everyone! I'm sorry that your experience of him wasn't too good, I really hope you have the opportunity to see the real Brian at sometime in the future. xxxx

Jan - who is Joanne?
Is she one of the celebs on DWTS or one of the pros?
I don't recognise her name

I very nearly made a topical Chilean reference there but even I have my limits................

Hehe I have a very funny image in my head of him acting as a traffic warden now

I didn't get a chance to get across to see him, by the time I'd finished talking to James and Ola I think he'd gone back down the stairs.

Hope you don't mind me being honest about my experience in Southampton, by all accounts from the rest of my group in Birmingham he was very friendly and chatted to them, I just clearly saw him on a bad day!

Hey, don't mind at all, just felt I needed to defend him as he is lovely!!! If only we were all perfect all of the time, I know I am anything but!!! btw He was wearing his trilby in Bournemouth when being a traffic warden so looked very much the part!!!!
