They did in the last series but it is odd that they are just starting out together and are not all over each other gemma just wants to get her leg over but charlie's having none of it

I think Ricky was meant to fill that void, but he's just not likeable enough!

How nasty were Nanny Pat and Carol when Lauren came in the kitchen, all they needed to do was acknowledge her, not have a full blown conversation! Sooooo rude!!

I thought Heat magazine were particulary nasty to Lauren. I saw their cover in a shop and it had some quotes by Lauren including 'I have a classic hourglass figure', with an unflattering picture, and the headline 'LAUREN IN DENIAL'

I don't buy magazines, but if i was a Heat reader I wouldn't have been one any longer after that cover.

I would guess their readers are mainly female, and the average size is what a 14 or a 16 now? So they are putting down many of their readers.
I'm a 6-8 and stress about my weight, so if i was bigger than Lauren and saw them basically saying she is fat and ooh look how horrendous she looks, it would make me feel bad about myself.

I don't like Arg's personality anymore but I agree, he looks great. He has obviously put alot of hard work in and even though i'm still doubtful he will be able to complete the marathon with only a couple months of training, i'm rooting for him

I thought the opposite, Lauren walked in the kitchen, clearly looked at them and then completely chose to ignore them and talked to Lydia and her mum and then decided to say hello. If that had happened to me, I'd of ignored her too.

If only arge had just said hello to lydia, complimented her on her outfit and moved on she would have been like "wow, he looks great" but he had to give her the ball and act like a ****.

Gemma was genuinely upset in this ep and is being played by that gimpoid.

Love reading all of your opinions on the show. I become a bit of an obsessive when the new series starts

My eldest daughter appeared on the last series as an extra (in Gemma's birthday scene). She loves watching it also but definitely changed her opinion on most of the characters once she'd met them.
She said some of the girls that she came into contact with (Sam, Billy, Jess and her Mum) were very b*tchy and Jess and her Mum breezed through all of the extras wearing full length furs and their noses in the air!
She also said Lauren G wasn't very nice (no shocks there for me I'm afraid - I'm not a huge fan). Arg constantly preened himself in fron of a mirror and wouldn't have his 'photo taken with them.
Joey wasn't as friendly (or as thick as he makes out). She said Diags was lovely as was Mick.

I've just read an article saying that the cast are split "80/20" in favour of Jessica in the "Lauren v. Jessica" war. Who in their right mind would side with either of them? They're both as bad as each other!

If I'm honest, I don't know what possessed me to read the article in the first place. >_<

The post by Bella1 seems like it would be quite accurate. They always seem to be talking bollocks about which of them are all about the fame and attention, when each and every one of that lot is the same. If they aren't about the fame or attention, they would (and should) leave the programme.

Having said all of the above, I couldn't be and haven't been bothered to view the past two series. It just became more and more blatantly staged with each new series. The appeal for me, in the beginning, was that it actually seemed legitimately "real", to an extent.
