Let's be truthful, Lucy got with Mark after Lauren and Mark split up, Lauren was sleeping with Mark when he was with Lucy in season 1 and made Lucy's life absolute hell throughout season 1 (and Sam's too, my first memory of Lauren G is her screaming "you C*nt" across a packed Sugarhut in season 1) so Lucy's dislike stems from Lauren's vile treatment of her and her sleeping with Mark behind Lucy's back and boasting about it.

Lauren isn't the shy, retiring little flower she makes out to be.

I also recall her saying how unfair it was she was picked on for her weight and how unconfident she was, then two scenes later she's laughing because Gemma could never fit into a wetsuit. Pure acting, I don't buy a thing she says as being genuine or sincere.
