The way Arg has been has been terrible. I know that we cant know for sure how much is real or what it is not. But... I do believe that he cheated and spread it like butter on toast, I do think that has put up with alot from Arg. And think that Lydia made the right choice when she ditched that dead weight. He started off as a nice guy, lost some weight, then thought he was the best thing since sliced bread. News Flash, he is just an arrogant ass at this point. He puts it about, and she has a one night stand, and he feels he has the right to send abusive texts to her, no. I really think he just hates that she has moved on, and its clear from he has said in recent episodes that he is not over her, still wanted to ask her out. Aint gonna happen. Theres only one way for Lydia... UP! Arg is a douche.

As for the weight issue of Gemma, there are plenty of chubby chasers out there. I do think she will find someone, at some point, just not sure it will be because of her, more of something to do with TOWIE.

Billi and Cara have been really great additions to the show imo. They have a genuine connection and that shows, and have fitted in well. They are very likeable essex type ladies, and they work it. And they did the marathon, they are like heroes.


While this is not the thread to discuss the whole double standard thing, but she has moved on, and he does not like it. She has moved on and he show his d!ckhead side to his personality, and thats why he sent the abusive texts, and I think the part of his personality that sent the texts speaks volumes. I think he has really shown his true colours, and in an ideal world, someone would punch him in the face. Turns out its not. Mario had every right to speak to him, as did Lucy, Arg was way out of line with his behaviour.

There are fat and ugly men who have little option but overall and on Towie she is barge-pole material.

At the beginning he used to be one of my favourite characters but i really can't stand watching him now. He seems to have developed an absolutely massive ego and thinks he's gods gift and all that!

Oh and his laugh drives me MAD !!

My fave at the mo is Charlie but i can't help thinking that he just doesn't fit in with the whole Essex group. He seems so unasuming and lovely ....

Arg is cool, he is upset cause he still loves Lydia. He didnt think she was serious about break, now she has consumated the split he got angry. So what he sent her a dodgy text, get over it, there are worse things in life im afraid than being called a slut, hes being type cast as a rapist on here. Everyone who is a human does stuff thats bad so dont judge. For what its worth i think Arg has the right to put it out there, but lydia tries to be sweet and serene, if she going to be an essex girl she should stop with the ' i have morals' act.

I think that Arg is acting out in anger but hes not acting unlike anyone else who has had their heart broken, it's what most people do when they're angry at their ex's.

So I don't actually blame him, it's not who he really is, he's just hurt and trying to make himself look good so he can feel better about himself. Like for Lydia she's got her business and friends, she's better looking than him and she's also able to play the vulnerable girl card...were as Arg has many insecurities with his appearance and life - so, he has more to prove.

I think Lydia and Arg are as bad as each other and I think they care for each other but they aren't a perfect couple...also I think TOWIE is completely the wrong show to look for the idea of successful relationships. The whole show is about young people having a laugh and partying, that's what makes it fun and good enjoyment, I don't watch it thinking these people are examples of how to hold down a relationship so it don't really bother me how they act, it's just entertainment & fun to watch.

I mean when Gemma and Charlie were having their heart to heart, I was laughing and I'm not a cruel person, I just found it amusing, same when Joey and Sam were snogging, as if there wasn't a room full of camera crew watching them, everyone on the show is all about how they look to the public so their bad qualities are enhanced too...don't mind though, i think this series has gotten off to a good start!

There may be worse things in life but that doesn't mean behaviour like that is acceptable. I'm sure she isn't innocent and we aren't seeing the whole story through editing, but no matter how he feels, she's moving on. She doesn't owe him anything and can do what she likes and shouldn't have to worry about what she does in case in gets back to him. He has very bad double standards having one night stands but criticising her for having one. He said tonight 'boys will be boys' but that's not on, if he wants to be in a relationship they should consider each other equals and expect the same respect from each other.

Agree on all points. I used to love Arg. I thought he was such a sweetie, but not anymore. Ok, so he's hurt. We've all been hurt but it's still no reason to go bad mouthing your ex and being a complete bitch. Lydia is a lovely girl with a good heart, imo she deserves better.

The trouble with Arg is, he could never decide between Mark Wright or Lydia .... He always allowed himself to be pulled in two directions & now it's too late ... Lydia has grown tired of his lame excuses & dumped him for good. Well I for one am glad ..... Couldn't agree more with you!! ))) Yeh,Gem was my fav at one time and I felt for her with all that Mick business and him not interested. And then, she was on fire when she lost some weight and such a bubbly person, and now, poor Charlie!!! I think he is one decent lad, who is not like any of the other lads, as he said. He is different, loving, caring and down to earth.

Rick is an utter and complete pratt; I think he is a bit fem and comes across camp sometimes; don;t know what the girls see in him. Can not stand Jess either; false as f..... that one. She needs to get a grip and stop listening to all the utter b*****ks that comes out of Rickys mouth.
