Very emotional episode tonight.

Poor Lucy. I can understand Maria and Lauren shouting at her as they were very upset, but Lucy only knows of Lauren, it's hardly going on a date with a friend's ex and Lauren had no problem dating Kirk after Amy. Not sure I'm comfortable with how the producers set up some of these confrontations, they are real people afterall.

I hope Arg and Lydia and resolve their problems, they seem a fun couple and perfect for each other.

True forgot that Lauren's first date, no sorry business meeting was whilst Kirk was with Amy. Only outed when Sam saw them. Shows that Amy was great the way she handled it. Still feel sorry for Lauren Pope tho.

tonight's episode was best episode of series 2 so far for me, hardly any Mark/Lauren and all the others took advantage and made it an awesome episode

Not sure what Kirk's playing at: first he dumps Lauren, then moves on to Chloe, then Lucy before deciding he loves Lauren after all... and that's only a couple of episodes. He's becoming worse than Mark!

I was surprised by the Lydia Arg bust up -- they always seemed like a good couple. I hope they sort it out.

Seems to me he is just massaging his ego.. He is nothing special at all.

I used to like Kirk, but I thought he let himself down tonight. "Shut up, you, you're just a ****ing extra" – ouch!

Tonight's episode felt a lot more "real" and raw than the other episodes so far this series. Felt really sorry for Lucy

Kirk really is arrogant, the way he spoke to Maria was terrible, regardless of whether he is one of the 'main' characters on the show, itis still about the relationships which I am presuming is real between him and Lauren.

Lauren is completely different to how I thought she would be, I presumed she would play with Kirk for publicity, not become besotted with him. She deserves better, Kirk is too immature for her.

Arg is really doing himself no favours the past couple of episodes, he makes some very nasty remarks abotu women, even calling Lauren and Lydia slags, albeit jokingly. It didn't surprise me to see Lydia accusing him of the same thing, but was saddened to see her upset. I can well believe that he has had his head swayed by the fame and attention that TOWIE has given him, and wants to have his cake and eat it with Mark.

So Kirk gives Lauren the chop with all the care and consideration that a hungover lumberjack would take when wearily hacking branches off a log and his Dad rewards him with a tarted up Range Rover.

Also why is it that whenever anyone asks him a question - even if it's just a simple "how are you?" - his response is "err...yeah...I dunno...err...jeez...dunno really...yeah"? A corpse would give a more coherent response.

It was surprising he managed to string several words together to label Maria "an extra" though perhaps not as eyebrow-raising as how that insult reveals his ambition to become the leading man of TOWIE by being the biggest moron.

Also Maria is fit and I daresay I most certainly would.

Felt sorry for Lucy tonight, she really didn't deserve the abuse Maria and Lauren were throwing her, especially after the way Kirk and Lauren got together.

Tonight did feel less scripted or maybe that's the intention. Anyway, Kirk's 'performance' was a good un, what a pleb! Didn't see the outburst between Arg and Lydia coming, thought they were getting on okay, shame.

Felt bad for Lucy in that ep I get where Lauren and her mate were coming from as they plus Lucy are hardly in it so they may be mates away from cameras but the abuse they hurled at her was extreme.

I agree that ep felt real but I found it uncomfortable watching Arg and Lydia as that felt like it shoulda been private. Also same with Kirk and Lauren was a huge setup but it could not have been scripted as I doubt any script would imply peoples importance to the show.
Another bonus for me I didn't see Lauren she may have been in first 10 mins but I didn't catch them

Me too, I don't think that should have been shown it's a bit private, but good on her for saying all that, it looked like it hit home with him. I felt really bad for Lydia, bless her

I assumed he dumped Lauren for Chloe. Then as soon as Chloe mentioned she had a daughter, he knew he would drop her too, just after the "night out" he mentioned before hand so it was less obvious he had a problem with it. Then came Lucy. Although the way the "date" played out with Lucy was confusing!

I agree with most about tonight appearing genuine, rather than the usual scripted chatter. I mean the way Kirks colour drained from his face when he saw Popey couldnt have been faked, could it? And then the way he randomly abandoned his date Lucy (and all tact), in an attempt to make things right with Popey, suggested to me that he knew absolutely nothing about her being there, acting on impluse.

I wonder if the producers offered to "cop" the meal or something, if they had the date at a place they may have been offered to "promote" I definately think the producers set it up without letting them know for fireworks. And hell if keeping the cast in the dark produces genuine drama like last night, they should keep doing it.

When Lydia started crying i thought I think Arg realised the issues Lydia had with him were serious to her, and if he didnt change his behaviour he could end up losing his girlfriend! At first i did think Lydias comments sounded a little OTT. Yet when she started crying and opening up to him about feeling their relationship had changed and that he had failed to notice it had been upsetting her, you could tell Lydia was speaking from a place of frustration and that she just needed a rant in order to get them out. I love Lydia. I hope they dont break up, theyre the best bit of the show. The comment at the end of the show "Will Lydia give her Arggy the Barggy" I thought NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Think of the worst, most ridiculous car one can imagine. One that everyone thinks, what a t wat, make it white as well.

I cannot imagine what it must be like to be so deluded, so shallow and so out of touch with 2011?
