Grrrrr UPC have taken away ITV2 so I can't watch this any more - anyone know where I can read a blog on it or see it online?

The scenes with Kirk and the various girls stupid enough to want to go out with him (though I suppose the fact that he is loaded probably explains the attraction) seemed quite natural - the rest of this series seems far too staged. I felt very sorry for Lucy which is a first as I have absolutely hated her trying to stir things up with Mark and Lauren's big romance.

Lydia's little tantrum seemed to come out of nowhere but I suppose it'll get a bit boring if there's no confict with her and Arg.

Amy's the only one who seems like a decent person, although I'm bored to death by the scenes in her salon.

Could do without her and Lauren Pope.

The scenes involving her , Kirk, Kirk's dad, Lucy, Lauren Pope and her mouthy mate are tragic.

They just don't pull it off like Arg, Lydia, Mark etc It's ridiculously overstaged and impossible to believe in any of the relationships whereas at least with Arg and Mark you can believe they want to be with their girls to a certain extent. The Kirk stuff is just farcical , h ehasn't got the chat to pull off such a big role. Couldn't handle one girl nevermind two or three.

Cannot believe how much Lydia has grown on me. Bar her slightly ott outburst last night she seems like nice girl really. Last series she looked complete mess and couldn't work out what Arg saw in her but she has a good sense of humour and the scenes with her, Arg and her mum have been gold.

Also think Amy has been very funny this series, she prob makes me laugh more than anywoman comedy actress or comedian. Nowhere nr as dopey as she makes out, nice girl though.

Still enjoying this series, some great laughs in it but some of the scenes getting very silly.

Really? Seems like a real desperado to me. she's pushed herself to be on the show from day one and really lapped up all the Mark attention even though she knew was clear third best in his pecking order. She's nice enough girl but what a monumental shi* stirrer!

Sam's my favourite, followed by Amy.”

Are we meant to seriously believe men actually find Chole attractive?
I watched this for the first time on Saturday. I'm starting to think it was a huge mistake to watch it in HD on a large flat screen TV. Because all of the people looked hideously deformed with ther fake eyelashes, false tan & hair extensions. But at the same time I couldn't stop watching it was so compelling in somekind of morbid freak show kind of way.It gave my self esteem confidence such a boast, I felt not so ugly & shallow in comparison to these so called beautiful people.

I liked Mark's analogy about "birds" getting dolled up to go out with their "blokes".

Sam may have backed her up, there was a gap cut out after what Lucy said and before they walked out the door. But Sam is hanging on in there thinking she's still gonna 'win' Mark. If I was Lauren I would want to know if Mark had slept with Lucy only 2 weeks prior. I honestly don't think the situation's totally fake but I think Lauren and Mark know their on / off relationship could be a lynch pin of the show and are playing it out. Anyway, why were they all sat together? They hate each other and aren't friends to start off with!

The best bit of the last two shows for me was nanna in her swimming hat and nanna saying she's gona write a book. Bless her she's a true eastender and the nearest thing to reality in that show next to Lydia's mum. In fact I'd rather know more about them than those vacuous revolting orange girls.”

Yeh , show does fall down a bit with these scenes!! They were awkward and staged in first series but nowhere near as bad as some of the scenes this year. That one was particularly ridiculous - all the warring factions just "decide" to go for a drink together

LOL - no mate, she is worst actress ever! Her face just looks permanently shocked cos of all the surgery. She's always been a bit of a desperado for fame as well, no way she fancies a drip like Kirk. She just mucled her way into first series on a flimsy reason to fancy Kirk and now doing all she can to cling onto last bit of fame imo.

I am genuinely puzzled by people feeling "sorry" for Pope. She couldn't give a flying fck about Kirk!!!! She just wants to be in the show.

How could anyone find her interesting enough to go out with? If you listen to what actually comes out of her mouth it's a neverending stream of mundane and repetitive observations. But spose Essex is more about what she would look like on your arm in an LBD.

I was intrigued by Maria's comment to Amy that her and Lauren Pope's boobs look exactly the same. So naturally I investigated using Google Images. It appears Maria and Lauren both requested the half grapefruit look from the surgeon. But I still would.

While Arg may feel a bit hard done by, the tete-a-tete with Lydia shows their relationship is genuine and should last, as oppposed to Mark and Lauren G. If Arg is spending too much time with Mark then the converse is also true, yet Lauren G merely sighs about it. Imagine Lydia's reaction if she cooked a meal for Arg's family and he then slipped away to meet up with Mark - when this happened to Lauren G, she reacted as if been told her hair appointment had been put back half an hour.

Totally agree, and that's why I can see Lydia and Arg lasting in the long run, because she has some self respect and won't take him messing her around but Lauren is a doormat.

I'm thinking about the engagement announcement and her carefully timed addition to the conversation about sleeping with Mark a couple of weeks ago. She then looks all innocent and claims she's doing it out of sisterhood as Lauren deserves to know the truth. Bullshit. She was doing it to cause trouble.

That said, I prefer her to most of the others. She's being massively manipulated by the producers in the various set ups.

LOL at Kirk's line about Maria only being an extra. I like Lucy, was the 'extra' saying to her she didn't even look hot? She looked hotter than her. I can't stand Maria. The way she spoke to Lucy annoyed me but then I'm only saying that cos I like Lucy, if she spoke to Maria like that I'd be joining in.

How long is this series on for?

Loved last night's episode. Kirk is a spolit little rich kid, and I also got the feeling the row with Maria was genuine - he came across as really nasty in that argument. Still wouldn't say no to his dad though

Can anyone explain why Gemma/Vanessa Feltz is in it? She's fake and immensely irritating, even by TOWIE standards

Not sure, I wouldn't be surprised it gets an extended run.

Maria was sticking up for her friend and not doing it for the cameras since they were put in that situation by the producers without knowing what was next, so his 'extra' line was in very bad taste.

It also wouldn't surprise me if Lucy leaves the show, she's being used by the producers. It would be interesting to see what contracts they sign, if it allows for so much intrusion and manipulation of their private lives in exchange for a bit of fame and some cash.
