No where as good as jersey shore.
Are you stark raving mad? This is why it's so good!

They are VERY strange people; you've got possibly one of the most vile men on TV (Mark as if I need to explain who), Amy with the trowel loads of make up and permanent pout (even when she 'laughs', very strange Sam who has the weirdest face I've ever seen on someone who is supposed to be attractive, Arge who lacks so much confidence he has to hang out with a complete t*sser so some of his rubs off on him, Nanna Pat who I'm not even gonna comment on ... and that ridiculous looking gay guy who must really pee off gay guys who don't want to be stereotyped.

Personally I'm not silly enough to think these are how all Essex people are, but I feel bad for those living in Essex coz a lot of people will believe these people portray ALL Essex people.

Laughable these people on the defensive. Fact is it describes over half the county's inhabitants - townie's mecca. As long as they stay out of Hertfordshire i'm happy.

I think the follow up should be make in Hertfordshire....they could call it the Kings and Queens of Herts.

I look forward to Essex Fashion Week at Faces nightclub!

Don't be ridiculous. There are people like that in Essex as there are in every other county but to they make up over half the population is just stupid and I'm not even from Essex.
Try coming to some towns in Kent. There are people here that make this lot look like rank amateurs.

And don't kid yourself, you've got as many of them in Herts as anywhere else

I'm a Margate boy - so trust me i know these people

I can't resist winding the Essex people up though, and I don't know what they are up in arms about anyway! Everyone i know absolutely loves the show.

I'm actually from the Old Kent Road myself so I thought I'd seen some sights anyway. then I went to a wedding in Gravesend.....OMG!!! The orangeness was almost radioactive and the fake hair could have made a ladder to escape from a tower block.

I think the Essex people at work have got past the stage of being p*ssed off and are now just taking the p*ss out of the muppets on the show. OMG SHUT UP

I genuinely love it.

I look forward to it more than X Factor.

Light-hearted and funny. With a bit of pointless Drama.

Awesome mindless TV and I'd rather watch this lot than Peter Andre or Kerry Katona any day!

I'm disgusted at myself for finding Mark devastatingly attractive

This is fast becoming one of my favourite shows on tv and I wish they would make more and longer episodes. Had tolaugh at Arg cringing at Mark's attempt to set him up with the two' models'. Interesting how Lauren gives away how she has been seeing Mark on the quiet thepast couple of weeks even though theprogramme has made nomention of this before. Lucy isn't going to be too happy to see all this is she

Grr, last night angered me so much, I love this show!!

I found it very childish that Lauren didn'ta ask Lucy to come up on stage considering she was a big part of it!! Lauren, what a cow!!

Poor Lucy. I think I may have fallen love with her...

Why is marks nan in every episode it's like they need to get her in. Her at the fancydress part and marks pub WTF. It would be much more realistic to see the parents.
