Lydia needs to either give him another chance or move on. It's not pleasant to see someone who dumped their ex but won't let them see anyone, including having a go at Amy!

I didn't like the ending. I know it's all staged but they're usually good at keeping up the pretense - but that was just ridiculous.

Amy has a real life boyfriend so the hanging round with popular Arg is purely to get more airtime and give her a storyline on the show IMO.

I don't get it. In the last ep Lydia admits they watch it or at least reads tweets online so why didn't amy just say well google me and I have a real life boyfriend. Strange little show my like for it is going down.
Been on holiday for two weeks and tonight was my first show back what have I missed (other than Harry dying his hair) I know I could watch it on catch up but cant really be bothered with that

LOL.

I love how Lydia is getting slated for simply following her script. This whole "triangle" with Amy/Arg/Lydia is obviously to give Amy something to do. She's been MIA this entire series, and her and Lydia's argument was about as real as Lydia "bumping" into her prince charming at the end. Its not pretty but its a fact that in order to get screen time, you need a storyline with a bit of drama/controversy...until now Amy hasn't had one.

I agree with another poster I think Amy's management CAN associates, who are notoriously known for micro-managing their clients anyway, have demanded to pre approve all her scene's. In an attempt to protect her image. But it's back-fired. Having her play this harmless giggling bimbo obviously isn't producing anything like the screen time and column inches she got last year just by being herself. I mean its glaringly obvious that she isn't getting anything like the attention the other cast members have enjoyed this series. Even the new cast members are doing better for screen time, especially Joey, Chloe, Gemma and even Mick. I think CAN have cottoned on now and are trying to let the "writers" include Amy more in the drama arc's. She's had to up her game to even to be relevant on The Only Way is Essex. Could you imagine if she simply carried on giggling in the saloon away from the drama when Made in Chelsea, Geordie Shore and The Only Way is Liverpool burst onto our screens? She'd be finished.

Amy has been in both Peter Andre's and Kerry Katona's reality shows recently. In one she talked about her real life boyfriend.

Lydia acted like an idiot last night but really, the ending was rubbish!!!

Joey is way to young and immature for Sam...He acts and looks like a Boy child and she knows it

The sad thing is, I don't think he's in on the storyline.
I think he's fallen hook line and sinker for her, and she's not in the least bit interested.

The ending last night betrayed the series. Lydia is a bunny boiler.

Mark going on about who he is is not pretty and is rather pathetic.

Sam sees JE for what he is and is NOT interested.

I knew there was a lot of her but did not realise there wa sthat much of her

I actually like the story arc of Gemma being interested in Mick but him not being interested.

With Mick being interested in Chloe but Chloe only wanting to be friends.

I think you enjoy the show more if you see them as actors with parts to play.

What are the viewing figures for this show I suspect they are huge by ITV2 standards

Blimey, that must be a pre-fitness DVD photo ala Clare Nasir.

That tummy is going to need a tuck if she loses loads of weight.

I suspect she will do very well out of TOWIE.

I wanted to believe that the programme was real. The ending of last night's episode totally shattered that illusion.

What is going on with Lydia's make-up? Each episode it gets progressively worse, and last night she looked like a clown with bright red lipstick.

Just caught up with last night's programme. Lydia is completely nuts and totally unreasonable. I actually feel sorry for Arj because he can't win. Lydia was the one who wanted to break up with him but she won't leave him alone and it seems he's not allowed to chat or flirt with any other women. Strange.

I'm glad Amy really stuck to her guns and told Lydia what for. It annoyed me the way Lydia replayed the confrontation to Lucy and the other one. Run Arj, run!!

Lucy seems to have taken on the old Sam role of cackling / bitching, etc. She is also a bit of a spare part, especially since the odd 'date' she had with Kirk a few weeks back. They seem to have run out of storylines for her.

I cannot stand the Wright women: Carol, Jess, even Nanny Pat and that new cousin or whatever she is. The biggest bunch of snide, manipulative, bitchy, sour-faced, jealous women ever. I almost feel sorry for Lauren but she has these attributes so they will all get on famously once the cameras stop rolling. The mother Carol, in particular - not sure if it's editing but she is not coming across well at all and likewise with Jess who I used to like but she seems horrible now. Though Jess did look stunning at the royal wedding gathering they had.

Harry and Joey make a great double-act - the car dealer at first glance probably thought they were a couple!

Mark Wright doesn't half speak a load of bollocks and Arj should stop showing his moobs.

Note to Mick: As if Chloe was interested in you! She may have an odd face but I think she is the nicest one of them all and the most down to earth. I'm sure I caught a gutted look on Mick's face when Chloe said she didnt even look at him in that way, anyway.

EDIT: That ending was shocking with Lydia and mystery blloke. But on the upside, I hope whoever he is takes her away so we don't have to listen to her moaning and ranting about her non-relationship!

Ah, is this the same Gemma that was really happy being that size?

Been following this thread for a while and decided to sign up so I can join in. I'm a complete reality TV junkie, I watch Jersey Shore, The Hills ect.. can't get enough!

I do love TOWIE, but I feel that this series it is coming accross as too fake. My problem is that the cast seem to be filming a week in advance and then watching that weeks episode so they're all playing really careful with what they say about other people. Some of the conversations are so contrived too. For example, Sam will tell Amy that last week she kissed Joey Essex in the pool when Amy would act all surprised when she would already have already known that because she watched the episode.

I think the producers need to do what MTV's The Hills did and film for 6 months before putting it out on TV so the cast reactions seem genuine and they have more time to patch storylines together rather than blatantly placing the cast in situations (such as Lydia bumping into her 'prince charming').

Don't get me wrong though I do love TOWIE but they just need to make it seem not as fake as what it is like The Hills did.

I'm preferring the new characters as opposed to the old bunch. Gemma, Joey, Maria and even Chloe are brilliant. I like Harry but he seems a bit redundant and doesn't have his own storylines. Amy and Kirk are annoying now, espically the former. Kirk is blatantly not in love with Lauren P and Sam is using Joey (but I'm 90% sure he is on it- He is WELL GAY).

I noticed Sam had full eye make up the morning after Joey's club night.
