Ha! I noticed that too!!

I thought Mark had a point. It is his business and if Lauren gets the hump like that, then she should stay away.

Poor Gemma, no wonder she was filmed working out in the park the other day. Probably a 'lost weight to gain her man' story coming there.

Kirk and Lauren look great together.

Lydia's nasally voice gets on my nerves and so does she really. There is something distinctly unsexy about her.

As for all the fake boobs - gosh!

Lauren and Mark need to leave the show now I think. Heidi and Spencer of TOWIE this year, seem well jell that everyone else is more popular than them, lauren was smirking when she was meant to be "angry" such a sad case.

More of the rest next time, no mark and lauren please.

Billie and sams twin like reaction to Amys story was my highlight tonight! And Maria trying not to laugh at gemma (who I love now) crying ridiculously because of mick lol

So you'd rather have grinning Billie and 'extras' Maria and Gemma who don't seem to do anything on the show?

I know who i'd rather watch lol

2.I must have glanced away from the TV at the Maria smirk, I didn't see it.

3. I actually disagree and feel that the push was real. I think that when her sister phoned her, it must have been around 5pm, and Lauren turned up at around 8pm, I reckon she was just waiting to go in later, probably already planned to push him in the pool (her idea, not the producers), so arriving when it was darker and less people were in the pool was more effective. Or she could have actually pushed him in the spur of the moment, she did seem pissed off when he was calling her names. I think the push was overdue. But I also think it was real.

4. It looked to me that Carol was shocked but was on Lauren's side, she looked disappointed in her son.

5. Agree that Lauren and Kirk are a genuine couple. Lauren is the furthest you can get from the stereotypical girls in the show.

6. It's getting too much, they should just break up completely. Good on Lyd for moving on with Rob.

7. Joey is too naive and dumb to act. He liked Sam, if someone went to him and clearly stated she was not interested, he still wouldn't get it. I mean Patio Heaters for her Mum? He is in LOVE!

8. I had no idea they were getting cut I liked them both!!

I have loved this series. MUCH better than the first series,”

2. Maria was smiling but I think it was out of embarassment, she probably didn't expect Gemma to start crying for real.

3. Mmm, I think the pool push was fake. It was the perfect way to wrap up the series and provide a cliffhanger moment, in fact the production team could have storyboarded the push then scripted the party afterward to set it up. There was no-one in the pool, all the cast were arranged neatly on that side ready to laugh, etc. Definitely set-up. It's possible Mark didn't know though.

5. Lauren seems a lot more relaxed than Kirk. He always looks like he's palpably fuming that he isn't the centre of attention.

7. Joey is not that thick, there was some serious overacting during the 'glamping' episode, he came very close to jumping the shark with the monkeys question, and the daft way he was digging the hole and arranging the fire. He knows what he's doing. I'm sure he's capable of his dim moments but he plays on it too, he's like the traditional Big Brother 'you love me cos I'm thick' contestant. In fact he'd be perfect for Big Brother, probably the celeb version now though!

8. There's no way they should get rid of Chloe, she's better to watch than most of the originals. I thought she looked bizarre in her first few eps but now she looks normal to me, my eyes must have adjusted

Yep I think it was a definite set up.
I think their tweets confirm that they were in on it all.

My thoughts on las tnights show (and the series really)

1. Gemma came across quite stalker-like in her behaviour towards Mick (who is a handsome guy), the baking of a pic, vajazzle etc for a guy who'd never shown any interest in her. I can only imagine that her comments to him previously about her being for him etc that he thought she was possibly joking. The tears at the end, did feel slightly sorry for her but he was obviously never interested.

2. Well done on Lauren for the push (even if it was set up). If my fella talked to me that way and otld me to stay at home I'd go and prove a point. She seems to let him get away with the things he says to her though so its partly her own fault. Look on his face at the end was hilarious though.

3. Lydia and Arg - well firstly Lydia's hag of a mother (with that awful voice) needs to but out of the relationship. Lydia keeps saying she wants to move on but still wont let things drop. We don't know if Arg ever said any of those things about Amy but we can see he absolutely adores Lydia. I think the best thing all round is for them to stay apart and Arg will soon move on - loved him this series.

4. Wasn't sure of Chloe at the start but grow to really like her

5. Joey - thats one seriously thick boy. Again found him annoying to start with but he was comedy gold.

6. Kirk and Lauren - great couple and he seems to have realised what he has there - long may they last

I wonder how many who love this show live in Essex or Essex borders and have to contend with these creatures in the flesh?

Hmm Lydia and Arg seem to have arrived together with no Rob in sight- makes me wonder if they are actually still together and they've been asked to 'fake' a break up for the show?

It's amazing how they say Sam was in a 'passionate kiss' with another man; her body language is pulling away; it's hardly passionate!

Loved last night's episode, i don't care how much of it was staged, it was great fun and had all the best bits of a soap! The general production and 'scenes set up for our entertainment' have improved a lot this series, so no doubt most of what we see is constructed by producers, but it is very entertaining.

Loved Chloe, Joey and Mick. Those characters make a nice change from the merry-go-round of Mark and Lauren.

I'd like to see more of Harry and Joey as a double act.

Lol I thought the exact same thing.

Absolutely loved the last episode. I had no idea it was on for an hour so I was absolutely fuming that Lauren still hadn't turned up at the party but then it cut to another break and I realised it was an extended episode. I was glad when Lauren did turn up and kicked off with Mark, how dare he speak to her like that in front of all those peopl. The way he treats her especially in public just shows her little respect he actually has for her and the sooner Lauren realises this the better. However I have a feeling she never probably will as she has got her man and that is all that matters to her.

I felt really sorry for Gemma when she started crying and I have to agree with others who say that I think the producers may have led her to believe that Mick was interested in her, which you could tell from previous episodes he was not - had she not watched these?

Sad to hear that Chloe may not be in the next episodes as I have really grown to like her, also love Gemma and Joey is just pure entertainment. I really don't like Lucy at all she always seems to have a permanent smirk on her face and seems to thrive on causing trouble. I like Kirk and Lauren together they make a nice couple and do seem genuine. I also like Mick and love Billie.

I'm already looking forward to the next series.

Thanks for that.

I wouldn't mind not watching Harry & Lucy anymore, but I like Chloe & Maria.

I would be more than happy for Sam, Mark & Lauren to be cut. Just don't find them interesting at all.

I think Joey, Billie, Kirk, Popey & Mick are the most entertaining.

Arg, Amy, Lydia & Gemma I could give or take with them really.

Also, WTF was up with Jess's pink lipstick at the pool party? Did she watch the ep before and see Lydia's statement lips and wanted in?? But just didn't really pull it off! Actually, would be happy to see the back of her as well. She doesn't really add anything extra to the show, none of the Wright's do.

I am going to really miss it though! I love my TOWIE fix, no matter how fake & set up it is!!

I can't stand the way she riles Lydia up and sticks her nose in. And she needs to straighten her hair.
Amy is great; Harry less so. I gained more respect for Amy when had the catfight with Lydia, and I love her being bitchy and two-faced about people, especially Mark...
I'm not keen on Sam. She seems really hard-nosed - not suited to the lovely Joey Essex at all. Joey, I love - especially his genuine lack of intelligence! I quite like Chloe and Gemma too. Gemma is a little desperate, but funny with it.

Roll on September! ”

Couldnt have put it better myself lol

Although Chloe was a bit odd at first, I've grown to like her - she seems really nice. I like Maria, even if she is a f*ing extra . Kirk and Lauren P should stay, along with Mick - Mick's chasing after young girls is a bit pervy but I did like his cheesetastic "what's your star sign" chatup line last night - I haven't heard that one since the 80s .

I find Joey and Gemma irritating in the extreme. Harry so needs to turn Joey, and Gemma needs to stop with the desperate bunny boiling antics - Stevie Wonder could have seen that Mick wasn't interested in her.

I could take or leave Billie, Sam or Nicola. Lucy also seemed like a spare part this season - I sense she won't be in it any more.
