That has to be one of the lowlights of the series so far - was so ridculous of him to approach her, it just came across as pure creepy not to mention absurdly random - but i spose that is this programmes speciality.
What we don't know is did the producers ask Julian to ask Lucy that question? She did look genuinely shocked to hear it.

Still Lucy will see Julian's true colours when watching the show to see that he's on Team Lauren.

I must admit that this programme is growing on me yesterdays episode was really well done. I look forward to seeing the boxing match on Wednesday. I also see that ITV have given the show another series which is good news.

It's brilliant! Totally addictive & last night's episode (i felt) was somewhat different and kinda better.

Wednesday's episode is the last in the series and a one hour ep.

I think i can confirm your suspicions without fear or hesitation. Practically every conversation is staged which is FINE by me cos they are so funny to watch and listen to whatever the conversations and anyway they only get told roughly what to chat about not specific lines imo. Think they just messed up a bit with that conversation cos it made no sense as she didn't know him from Adam and unlike the rest of the "story" being put together didn't ring even a little true.

Its brilliant, worth noting that last night received 851,000 viewers, the second highest just behind the launch episode... so I guess people think its too cheesy but are addicted!

Its back for Christmas!!!

That really angers me watching that last episode, what a liar Mark is saying he is with Lucy to her and then saying he wasn't to Lauren.

Lauren is a bitch.

Poor Lucy and poor Kirk, i wanted him to win.

I think I must be going senile because on the titles at the start of the programme, there's a guy called Michael - who is that? I don't remember seeing him at all.
Yes, I can't believe Michael's in the credits, when he was only in it for a few minutes, and "Arg" is clearly the star of the whole thing, yet doesn't get a look-in!

Full disclosure, I live in Essex, which is the only reason I watched the first episode, but I've been totally hooked, it's my real guilty pleasure, and trust me, I've never watched anything else on ITV2 before...

(And Amy is comedy gold - "That's a really good line", in response to J's "Get your coat, you've pulled"...)

They probably featured the characters who proved to be the most popular with viewers, which they would not have known when doing the opening credits

Loved the show. Unfortunately I did miss the first ep and another one inbetween (wasn't aware at the time it was on twice a week) but I was hooked immediately after watching it. Yeah essential it's a load of crap, but it just makes great viewing.

Lauren is a complete bitch and Lucy needs to find a better man because she's worth more than Mark. She seems a really nice girl so I don't know what she's doing on the show and why she wants Mark. I really wanted Kirk to win too, again he seems a decent bloke.

Can't wait for the Crimbo ep. Nanny Pat and Harry are legends!

Awww, you should've given it longer than that - if you can accept that there are people around like Amy, Harry etc, you would've enjoyed it. They are harmless enough.

I love it (although since my son's in it on occasion, I'm compelled to watch it anyway )

I was getting quite with Lauren last night, what a bitch she's turned out to be, she was one of my favourites at the start.

And I wish Mark would grow a pair too!!!
