To me it sounded like a dig and that she was being sarcastic when she said you two deserve each other but I don't think she loved mark when that happened because she was with mario I honestly think carol was just trying to cause trouble

As scripted and contrived this show is, the finale last night was good entertainment. Mark has some very dislikeable personality traits, but TOWIE will miss him certainly more than it missed Amy Childs who was the stand out of Series 1. However, maybe her lack of screen time in Series 2 softened the impact of her exit.

Has anyone seen this being filmed at all??

Ya and after all Lucy did lie about sleeping with him,trying to make her own son out to be a liar when he wasn't so she can't have been too pleased with that...

It was very odd. Almost as if she was going to slate Lucy to Mario but then couldn't go through with it when she saw Lucy there.

Her face had an evil look as ever. She is one scary mumma.

It was very odd with Mark saying he was getting out of Essex for a while and being very vague about it but we all knew he was going in the jungle.

I was actually quite sad when he left.

Thing with Jess is her total contribution over 3 series of TOWIE has been:-

1. Failed girl band Lola
2. Unnecessary boob job
3. Presenting Nanny Pat with a dildo

Hence a Joey face-suck at the 11th hour makes sense.

And if Joey gets her to try on his Adidas hot-pants in the Xmas special it could all be worth it.

Been in Brentwood when Sugar Hut was roped off and cars weren't allowed to stop outside as they were filming and that was at 4pm. Most of the party scenes are filmed during the day.

Yeah I think if Lucy hadn't gone over to mario carol definatly would of slated her but when Lucy showed up she couldn't say anything so just said u two deserve each other yeah I don't think mark was aloud to say anything about the jungle because they hadn't released the official line up yet

Until her name came up on the screen, I thought that Jess kissing Joey was Chloe so I was horrified!

I thought it was a very poor last episode and considering it was firework night very very few explosions/sparkles or bangers going off/on.

I love Joey so much, he doesn't have a bad bone in his body. Just want him to get a nice girl who isn't using him, but he sure seemed to be enjoying himself so fair play

I think he is gonna be perhaps the main guy next year as the lads already seem to be fighting over him to be in a bromance with him! We had Jirk, now him and Arg and i've seen Mario tweeting about 'Moey'.

Why was the Mark scene filmed like that, as if he's leaving from essex, he's just leaving the show and going to do i'm a celebrity, couldnt he have just said that, im sure him and arg wil still be friends when theirs no cameras lol

That's the drama of the show as if it's almost in its own little bubble within Essex. I would imagine though that Mark and Arg have had a fantastic time over the past year with their involvement in TOWIE and now it is at an end.

Joey isn't really a 'lead character' type though - he's the lovable buffoon who provides comic relief but in the eyes of the producers he's not going to be the source of drama and tension, which Mark almost always was.

I think they'll find it quite difficult next series - I'm struggling to see where they'll go from here as his exit leaves a large hole to fill.

I'm so going to miss TOWIE!! Think Mark will be a massive miss though, has anyone managed to find out any info relating to Kirk's mysterious absence the past couple of episodes?

I use to live that end of Essex, and believe me there are plenty of 'Mark Wright' types. They can find better players than him, more flash, loveable too. There are so many, just go to Nu Bar and take your pick. There are some huge characters, as vain as Mark. It will take the producers 5 minutes to find many suitable replacements. They need to look for the big boys with big toys! They are missing some good characters. There are also some very beautiful girls, who are not orange, or big boobed, but will still add the glamour. They need some new women

Some parts of the last episode really made me laugh, when Gemma was talking to Harry about that lad’s (forgotten his name) dance moves I cracked up! Also found Arg’s outburst of laughter at Joey when he kept banging his head into the ceiling really funny, and when Arg walked out of the tanning thingy bright red and puffy Mark’s reaction was hilarious.

Low/awkward points included Arg making comments about gay marriage, the Joey kiss at the end, the "toast" moment (cringe), "you deserve each other!" (what was that about ), and Lauren arguing with Sam (I think they both came out of it badly).

Is Chloe back next series? I couldn’t stand Mark at first but his friendship with Arg is one of the most genuine parts of the show imo, along with the lovely Chloe. He’ll be really missed.

Is there an xmas special this year?

Yeah they said on the final episode they would be back at Christmas

I found the last episode really entertaining; Arg in the tanning salon and Joey's shorts, Chloe and Joey's scientific discussions, the twins messing around in a long coat, the bromance and the tears. Going to really miss it, especially Chloe and Joey. (Won't miss Lauren though - she seems a really unpleasant, bitchy person.)

I can't stand Joey, is he really so thick or is it an act?
